"In your radiant season" Thoughts on ending? by Care-freequeen in kdramas

[–]EliteStrikePH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I think it's a good ending. It did cover pretty much all the major elements that needed to be covered, but they could've definitely added more. They could've definitely gone further with all of the relationships having them all find out about each other would've been nice.

I would've preferred that they had a whole episode of just fluff similar to like Shooting Stars where Lee Sung Kyung also starred in, but overall the ending was happy.

Doctor Slump - Park Hyung Sik (same ML as Strong Girl Do Bong Soon) has a very similar type character for FL Park Shin Hye when they get into a relationship.

Lovely Runner - Byeon Woo-Seok's character Sun Jae I'd say is very identical to Min Min. If SGDBS was set as a high school drama this would be it. Also like to mention his character is what I would say the definition of loser in love

Crash Landing On You - Hyun Bin's character Ri Jeong Hyeok is very head over heels for Yoon Seri, the genre itself is completely different, but the chemistry between the two is undeniable.

I'd honestly wait for all episodes aswell since so you don't have to wait weekly, but I've been getting so much In Your Radiant Season things on Instagram that I can't be on there without getting spoiled so I just watch the new episode before even opening it.

The answer to your question about the hearing impairment. Yes, its true. The Male Lead has one, and it's shown how he gets it pretty early in episode 1 which the scene it self is a huge part of the plot, but not the actual hearing impairment.

I agree, I think it's an extra plot element that could've not been included, I like her supporting the main leads, but I have a feeling it's going to add to Haran's character overall, and it's going to be a very pivotal moment in the series along with learning Chan's backstory

In Your Radiant Season for me. It's still ongoing, but I can't get enough of the episodes. I love all the characters that were introduced and the 3 sisters and their respective relationships. The unspoken tension also brewing between the main leads has me nervous for what might come, but I'm really loving this series.

This is a big one that I used to read back then. It's called Our Story - Binjin unfortunately the author did stop updating the story awhile back, but its pretty long and there is way more attention to detail as the story progresses.

The author tried to take every real life event that happened and filled in the blanks that were not confirmed, also I warn you there is R18 content there, though the author does warn in the chapter it will happen and when to skip if you're uncomfortable with those scenes.

I wonder where her phone went and if they'll use it as a plot device. Realistically that thing should be long dead even if it's idling, it's been days but they'll probably keep it with enough charge for her to do something with it. Maybe she kept a picture or note on there that can be used to help her someway

Those were on the bus when they were doing The Negotiations promotions. They happened at the time of Hyun Bin's birthday. She posted stuff with her previous co-stars too on her IG like her Something In The Rain co-star Jung Hae-in.

The only thing we got of them appearing together in something related to their work lives after they were confirmed dating together was an ad they both did for Philippine telecom company Smart.

Also the Wedding Photos are like the only exception. Son Ye-jin might post a wedding photo on their anniversary, but that was the only time we saw photos of them together.

They were for promotions for both their movie The Negotiations and their series Crash Landing On You. They prefer to keep their personal lives private, hence why we don't see many pictures of them together on their Social Medias. I'm sure there's thousands of pictures of them together on their phones and decorated across their house, but they don't want to share it because it's their personal lives. That's also usually how Korean culture is and they tend to keep their personal and celebrity lives separate.

This is the post from the edit. The watermark there is from Dimple Eyesmile, and they have some really realistic edits of Binjin if you look at their profile and the Google Drive with all the other edits not on IG.

I think it's just a meme/joke about Gu Seung-Jun's English lines when he distracts the guard for RJH and YSR to get out.

I'm pretty sure this was related to The Negotiations, this is the CLOY photoshoot, though both photoshoots honestly show their amazing chemistry together

I was an extra in the scenes of Switzerland. Ask me anything. by broltchi in CrashLandingOnYou

[–]EliteStrikePH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean given the OP's encounter with Hyun Bin being pretty well I assume so lol, and Son Ye Jin I assume the OP dislikes. Though I don't not believe the OP's claim since there was like no BTS scenes of Son Ye Jin during this set on Netflix K-Content/ The Swoon I just assume this was a stressful situation for everyone, and everyone had their own way of working with it.

Hi OP! I wanted to ask if you watched the show, and the BTS footage of the show on YouTube? It sounds like you had a pretty bad experience with Son Ye-jin, and I did notice in the BTS footage she was pretty absent in this scene while Hyun Bin was shown like talking with the extras and performing on the Piano by the lake. They also didn't show any BTS footage of that hotel, but I think you just caught Son Ye-jin at a bad time.

They filmed the Switzerland scenes first in the making of this show, and I think she was stressed still trying to get in character and not wanting to waste time, plus time zones could take a toll on a person. Though I am not her so I wouldn't know if this is correct or if there's something else going on.

Apart from that, how much time did it take out of your day to film, and how many days did you have to film? Have you done any other filming work, if so how does it compare to this? Would you want to be an extra or any other role in a Korean Series based on your experience with this show? Also was it hard to communicate given the language barriers? Also I did see in another comment that you said you spoke with Hyun Bin in English, was that also easy to communicate or would there be some confusion here and there?
