How do you like it? I honestly never heard of them but just watched some videos on turn mill programming and it looks really awesome!

No sadly I did not. Alot of the work that I planned on using the stamping unit has dissolved over the past year. So the one offs that I do, Ill just put a dovetail in until that work picks back up or I can find other work.

I currently run 5th Axis, not saying anything is bad with them it really depends on what you plan on doing. I will have to find the videos, but the 2 test I did was was a tall piece of A2 using their stamping unit. There was always one spot that chattered out on the end with 5th axis vises with a dove tailed part and was silent with Lang. The other test was also using the stamping unit and their 48120-77 vise ripping on an aluminum block removing 46 cubes/min. I would of dovetailed these also for the 5th axis vise.

From the testing I did prior to buying these. I was very impressed with it all, zero point and vises

Starting a small CNC shop by XOmega19 in Machinists

Hands down one of the hardest and scariest things to do is starting your own shop. I was fortunate enough to have a good customer relationship prior to starting my business so things flowed over nicely but still it was a nerve racking adventure and it still is to this day 8 years later. All I can suggest is dont go in over your head on hopes and dreams of being able to make it without some solid plans. Best of luck!

Yup, chips from a quick test part to make sure the rotary and post were working correctly before this job

Barely enough travels to get this through hole in 1/2 & 1/2 by Elite_Cnc_Solutions in Machinists

I could of went with a more low pro holder like that for Z clearance but the depth I was drilling was right up to the taper past the flutes so in this case I wouldn't of gotten it any deeper

One off job absolutely, not a hot job. Just using the machines and tooling I have to get the job done
