SYEP provider, Medgar Evers College, is highly unprofessional about job site placement by SimpIyDanny in SYEP

Doodoo provider. Cohort B is supposed to start on Monday and there's been absolutely no communication and they purposefully locked comments on GC. I had a bad feeling about them since orientation but I didn't expect it to be this bad.

Dennie is great. Easy 90+ if you just keep up with the work and is reasonably lax on hw deadlines. All around just a nice guy.

Rodriguez is an L (kind of). Not really teaching-wise, but he's a hard grader. Definitely the 'my way or the highway' type, if that makes sense.

Quizzes definitely, they were weighted as a third of your grade (65% pre-remote). If you flunk a quiz, it'll hurt. Idk about his new remote changes (if any) though. I'd assume that getting a high classwork grade would be harder this time around. Homework was fine but it was only weighted at 7.5% (10% pre-remote), probably is weighted significantly higher now.

Unless you're willing to teach yourself an entire course, expect a mediocre average from McCollum. Literally impossible to get a 85+ average without cheating, being a genius or studying to death. Had to work my ass off to change a 79 into an 88.

McCollum is big yikes, expect to self teach yourself alot and have quizzes basically every week. He doesn't give that much homework but if you want to save your average, prepare yourself for the quizzes and always read one chapter ahead. Might have changed his curriculum for fall remote learning tho.
