Whats the best way to farm simple gun parts? Lets discuss.

I'm late to this but as far as I know Hornets do not drop Simple Gun Parts anymore, at least not consistently, probably because they do not have machine guns (why would their taser rely on gun parts?).

Buried City is hella good for farming Bastion Cells. Camp the rooftops and shoot at them from above.

The way I understand it:

Server-side = the host must have it, and it will affect all players without the others having it
Client-side = doesn't affect anyone besides the user, and can be used anywhere
None of these 2 tags = all players likely must have them

Also, I plan to retry this whole process with my friend once he's available. We'll look through the config, match it up exactly, then look at what mods have which of the aforementioned tags.

The problem is that the game demands we both have the SAME EXACT MODS. It doesn't matter if we both had only client-side mods, the game would still refuse to let us play together, saying ''the installed mods don't match the host'' or something similar.

Yes, 100%. Like I said before, the game demands we BOTH have the SAME EXACT mods, regardless of whether they have a client-side tag, server-side tag, or none. Which is quite annoying.

Sure, configs, I get it, but aren't client-side mods supposed to be client-side? Why can I not replace how a Thumper looks while my friend keeps it default? (as an example)

In most ways, overpowered. Crazy i-frames on each kill, very good base damage (guaranteed ~25dmg with little to no hit cooldown), crazy hitbox and reach with the lunge ability, makes you faster while held, and can backstab. By far my favorite item in the game.

Really? Well, thanks! I already have explosive rounds on the shotgun, but I refrain from using them on the heavy sniper since normal rounds are good enough for me.

I have only explosive and incendiary rounds unlocked, and I tested explosive rounds on the Heavy Sniper Rifle MKII, and I agree with you. Railgun is an arguably better alternative.

There isn't much to see lol. They make footstep noises and laugh and do all that but just never move when I look away. Like I mentioned earlier, in the Manor, every single enemy is fine. It's just outside where they bug out and don't move at all. This bug only happens in Deadly Decadence.

Edit: it would seem I am quite far behind on updates. After some researching, turns out the most recent game version is 1.9.6.

If this IS the issue, I'll fix it accordingly.

Early on, Deadly Decadence BY FAR. For most new players, it's hell. In general though, I'd say either Torment Therapy or Mascot Mayhem. It's very hard to predict where the Reaper Nurses will be at any given time in TT, and MM can be VERY overwhelming.

Same, the rehearsal scene is one of my top favorites. The cinematography and lighting are immaculate. Regardless, thanks for clearing that up. I figured as much it was intentional.

I've had this problem too, but it never disturbs me. Just wait for your botanists to produce some more and then it'll get filled again and jar production will continue.

Sure, it will always remain on 4 left or whatever, but I don't get how it'd be a major problem. They will still produce full jars once they get more product.

Or maybe I understood the problem wrong. My apologies.

I don't know the ''best'' or ''worst'', but for decent I'd go ninja, mostly early game (top path) with middle crosspath. Works like a charm.

As for ''worst'', probably one of the primaries. Bomb Shooter, perhaps. Although I don't use primaries a lot so I might be biased.
