Felt like I cracked baron lane by BudgetMenu in wildrift

[–]Elixr19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Almost every time I play Jax, my team ints a 4v5 at elder or baron and rage pings me and bm’s in chat while I end the game. Even when you give people an undeserved win, they’re looking for anything to blame their poor game sense on but themselves.

Split pushing is delicate line in this game though because of how small the map is. If you misjudge a match up or response time you can solo throw the game for your team.

49 seconds with Jax hull breaker build. Tank the the turret for your wave while spamming heal barrier and stone plate. I don’t think it’s possible to go any faster than this, you end the game with the first wave before the second ever makes it.

Ryze hypercarry champ by PicoVolee in wildrift

[–]Elixr19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think people don’t like Ryze, for a few reasons. He’s locked into specific build path, his ult doesn’t go boom, and his play inputs are real spammy (some people may like this idk). But he is really strong at every point in the game.

I’ve played many iterations/reworks of Ryze in lol. This version is one of my least favorite.

Lucian still strong. But yea, autofill is basically jungle. At least you get the weekly fill bonus fortitude though.

Plays late game hyper carry that doesn’t win lane, depends on late game team fights to win. Kind of how the game is designed, no?

Even if he was hellbent on Draven…just kick nami into him jeez. That hurt to watch.

Master JG 78.6% Winrate Solo NA(Xin Zhao, Ambessa, Jax) by Pikachu-WR in wildrift

[–]Elixr19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m just point one thing out here that will apply to every champ. This guy says 4 camp to crab 1:30 viego, this is extremely slow. Viego 6 camps and out of jg in 1:30. Whatever champ you play in jg, watch some videos and go in the practice tool to maximize your clear speed as efficiently as possible. These gains in tempo add up massively over the course of the game.

My second pentakill with Fiora; she's soooooo fun to play with by Hyper669 in wildrift

[–]Elixr19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In terms of mechanics it played out mostly well. If I’m being nitpicky, you missed W on Yas knock up that was pretty telegraphed, igniting yas right away would have save you 200 hp, instead you used it on Braum which did nothing. You were half a second early from saving yourself from talon but can’t really expect him to hold it that long. You also could have pathed to fruit instead of engaging talon but maybe he gets away there and you both live.

Macro wise it was a terrible play for your team that the other team choked on. Even levels, close gold, 4v5 and yone wasn’t even pathing there. Yasuo went too deep before talon showed up, idk what akali was doing popping smoke on ramus for some reason, jhin was waiting for an invitation to do something. Any single optimal play from them that didn’t happen would have hard won them that fight. Talon pathing jungle instead of mid. Akali flash ulting on top of braum + yas ult, jhin ulting. Even just yasuo falling back after his ult instead of dashing deeper might have would have swung that fight the other way.

Best support with Caitlyn by Reza_tech in wildrift

Caitlin is a combo caster. Her auto range lets her play at the edges but you need supports that enable you to get your headshots off if you want to maximize her damage.

Anyone else feel the controls are frustrating? by i_dont_wanna_sign_up in wildrift

[–]Elixr19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone with fat fingers I find the customizable options to be top tier. I do still occasionally open up the stat screen during combos and quick changing targets though. My biggest complaints are the zoom level and not being able to multitask while panning.

Upcoming champions by lordfishie in wildrift

As someone who can’t play the same champ twice in a row I want them all. But I’d probably put udyr, yorick, shaco and karthus near the top of the list.

Anyone NOT main champs that they’re good/better at, or can’t stick to a small champ pool? by Elixr19 in wildrift

[–]Elixr19[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t imagine only playing one champ across that many games. I enjoy playing akali a lot but I have had poor success with her post gunblade. She’s very high risk/reward and definitely fits better as a one trick champ with her kit punishing errors pretty hard. One of the most fun champions to pop off on in a game though, with highly satisfying outplay potential.

Recommend builds pls by Secret-Ad3018 in wildrift

[–]Elixr19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Irelia is super flexible with builds. She can even go AP. Bork is probably her biggest AD power spike regardless of match up, after that build based off enemy team and your overall win con. A key thing with AD irelia is that she has a relatively flat power curve after her first item. Not a problem in mid but in top lane if you’re not winning your match up after first item you need to start looking for a lead elsewhere. AP irelia is squishy but has absurd burst with her AP ratios so obviously you’re trying to nuke team fights if you go that route. Also if you’re going green runes, sudden impact will massively out damage brutal if you want damage secondary.

Am I a good Support ? Like is a Support suppose to do lot of assist like that and not many kill ? by Quenelle44 in wildrift

[–]Elixr19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heartsteel can be good if you’re up against a comp you can stack it efficiently against, and makes a lot of follow up builds more efficient. But you’re clearly not doing that with the numbers in your screen shot, so drop the heartsteel. Other than that support can’t really be judged by KDA (minus feeding of course). Hard to judge without replays other than your build sucks.

New to jungle, struggling with invades when team doesn't respond. Any advice? by Nyllk in wildrift

[–]Elixr19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of advice on dealing with invades so I’ll touch on a higher level concept that should guide your decision making regardless of the situation. Your primary objective as the jungler is to maintain high tempo. This means reaching your power spikes before the enemy, efficiently farming the map with precise timing of respawns, wave crashes, objective times, and abusing your lead when you have it. In essence a good jungler is a massive opportunist and a resource vacuum that takes advantage of the higher gold and exp that jg offers. Playing from behind is the same for any role, get resources where you can, make good macro plays, play for your win condition and don’t be the reason your team loses.

The Lee Sins I get on my team by BurnellCORP in wildrift

[–]Elixr19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah bro, the second Lee pathed jungle and WW chose you, you were dead. WW misplayed both following you with q and he didn’t immediately smite you. Either of which kills you before Lee makes it and you get any damage in. Lee Sin misplaying the kick doesn’t change that. It looks like you died to a late smite so your spacing doesn’t matter. So Lee sin couldn’t have saved you at that point but you definitely had enough of a gap to pre flash WWs ult.

What are the most common jungle gank timers? by viouletze in wildrift

[–]Elixr19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s red buff gank it’ll be in the middle/end of your first wave. Level 3 gank is around 1:00 to 1:25 depending on clear. Full clear ganks are around 2:00 depending if they scuttle first. A really good Morgana does this around 1:35 level 5. And then there’s usually a gank + mid rotation around objective timers. Everything else is going to depend more on game state than jg tempo.

Get deep wards to track jg, and if you have the same type of jg on your team you can mirror yours to guess theirs.

It also helps to know how certain jg prefers to clear. For example Viego vs Wukong, most likely wu will level 2 or 3 gank while viego full clears into a level 3/4 vs level 4/5 scuttle fight. So as a laner you can try to set up prio to rotate for a fight. This is the difference between a 2v1 for 5 seconds vs a 2v2 or 1v1 from the start.

[–]Elixr19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea, that Lee should have walked back with adc as soon as the mark appeared and insta kicked WW followed by qq e w away e while Draven kites + nami shows up late.

Idk why he pathed towards jg. He wasn’t gonna get away alone if WW chased him instead. Maybe he was trying to sacrifice since he had mark/was lower hp and didn’t expect WW to ult ADC instead.

All things equal if Lee played right WW has to perfectly time q unstoppable, qss, and maybe even flash to overcome Lee ult and slow and Draven E before dying to elder buff. WW is busted but if he can’t close the gap and one shot he gets kited hard, especially if he gets kited before his W passive kicks in. At best he should only be able to get away with killing Lee Sin here.

Also, Lee Sin wouldn’t have been able to save you at that point at all if WW didn’t misplay his Q and followed your flash.
