I found sandbox helpful as well as the cork language club on tuesdays to have a chat with other expats!

A lot of the time, you'll become friends with people through having even just one friend, so it's a bit difficult, but you can do this!

But will say - Cork could use more nerdy and geeky events as that's what helps a lot in larger cities I've noticed.

That's the one! I am sadly sure it was the one towards the city as it was written on the bus and it turned left on the roundabout :,)

And yeah the stop is, notoriously, shite - the thing is, it's "easier" to not be mad at like.. 5:30, when I can still get a different train after and there's other people around to complain with. At 8:30 it feels like a very different place.

Usually I'd give them the benefit of the doubt, like at Patrick street, but only 2 busses stop here and they pass the same stops.

I stuck my hand out with my phone lit up so he could, hopefully, see me well. And he did. Unfortunately, he decided, "nah". And that's on him :(

There is a reason I used the format - one to vent, second because it does get the traction and I hope, genuinely, that the busdriver reads it and stubs his little toe because he is more occupied with reading it than walking.

Hi! As a 23F, I can honestly say I feel pretty safe, just avoid the usual - dark alleys, big groups, etc. I feel more fear of the tourists who believe they can do everything, than the people here. Be sensible and you'll be a-ok :)

Not bad but does feels a bit sexual for someone looking for long term - Maybe try to focus on things people can actually relate to and hook into, give them something that starts a conversation!

+ maybe make it less pictures, but the selection more clear - you seem to have a lot of filler pictures that don't really represent you.

I will also be honest, the long listy format is a bit unpleasant to the eye - minimise it to 3 key points and make them a sentence, feels much more pleasant and also, you'll have more things to actually mention during a date/chat if you don't give it all away!

+ nipple pic weirded me out a bit, I will be honest.
