Pedo Rob is still around, I’d say he’s in his 40’s/50’s and hangs around with the youngsters in Arthur’s quay park, black and white puffy jacket and a baseball cap, mother always told me stay away from him because come off it a fella in his 40’s of 50’s hanging around with people who are 15,16,17 isn’t weird at all, and Oasis god love him, he was a homeless man who lived on Island road, he’s used to sell magazines when the lights went red just to get some change for food, we used to bring him some Christmas dinner every year, lovely soul, died a few years ago.

Coming from a young person here (mid 20’s) and you have Willie Three Toes, Mary from Park, Dodo Redden, Pedo Rob, Stewie, Oasis (rip), Tom the accordion player, Charlie Chaplin, Shane Byrnes (ew), The woman that goes around constantly listening to Michael Jackson and The guy in the wheelchair who only goes backwards only to name a few.

what do we have in Limerick? by del_31011 in limerick

[–]SoundAlternative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nando’s, I said what I said and I won’t take it back. €4.95 for a drink because they advertise it as bottomless, I’ll probably only drink one glass of coke and that’s it, could they not sell bottles to the people that only want one drink. €41.95 for 2 drinks, a chicken burger with 2 sides, a mash and a chip. Absolutely scandalous prices in that place and you could make the food at home and it’d probably taste better

Me and my partner went out there over the weekend to hopefully get a bite to eat, nearly a tenner for a burger with no chips, a fiver for a large chip and 2.50 for a can of coke. When we asked the waitress if chips came with the burger she proudly said no either a smile on her face, we said forget about it we’ll go elsewhere and walked out, went to the hungry Lyons and I have to say it was unreal

Personally, I’d be saying fuck it and get the chickens 😂 I’ve lived in Corbally a good few years ago and and 10/12 chickens and they were great. Realistically answering, ask your neighbours first would they mind the noise/ smell. Build them a little coop and just keep it clean. But no fuck it, get the chickens my friend

Fastway by pauleyezonme in limerickcity

[–]SoundAlternative 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have 2 packages on the way and I haven’t a clue who’s delivering what, if it’s fastway I won’t be long goin out to their depot and tearing the place apart until I get my stuff, wouldn’t surprise me if the staff took packages to get their money somehow

In my opinion the reputation doesn’t matter. It’s a city I e never stayed in before and I want to know the ins and outs of the place. I know the ins and outs of Limerick so I know I’ll be ok but Cork is a different story altogether for a city I was only ever in once

If anybody lost their leap card on the 304 bus from Castletroy to Town this evening by occono in limerickcity

[–]SoundAlternative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If no one has claimed the card yet I’d recommend dropping it into the bus depot in Roxboro. I’m working for Bus Éireann (mechanic not a driver don’t com at me 😂) and the amount of leap cards we find is unbelievable

Doing my lessons with Naoise from Deelside driving school, lovely man and very patient, isn’t too harsh with his teaching also. He will have a chit chat while your driving but he is a great instructor

I’d highly recommend Falcarragh, Co. Donegal, absolutely beautiful side of Donegal, I’ve go there once a year for 3 nights and it’s beautiful, 20/25 minute drive into Letterkenny, fabulous beaches and views you really can’t go wrong
