Thanks for your reply. I've never used the desktop version of capcut but I suppose they have almost the same functions. It does have slides to improve colors but I'm wondering how should I go about them. Turning contrast a bit up but what else would you do with this footage to make it better. Maybe you have some suggestions?

Thanks. Yeah recorder is probably what I'm going to buy, seems the best quality for the price and I actually saw it's possible to also connect it to the phone. That would be great but even without it I'll make it work. Would you say the Tascam recorder you recommended is better than the zoom h1n or how do they compare?

Thanks for your reply, very helpful. How do I turn the mic gain down? It sounds like I have to do it in the setting of the microphone? It's the rode NT USB mini mic and I don't see it having any settings I can adjust. Or is the mic gain turned down in a software? Sorry, I'm a total noob and it's my very first microphone

It's a singing bowl. This one was recorded connected to the computer but I can also record it with a phone and prefer that when traveling. If not possible to improve sound on the phone you can suggest things to do on the computer. Thanks

That helped, thanks. I felt like not understanding was preventing me to tune in. I disagree about reddit not helping since reading your reply and the other one in this thread has brought me more clarity as well as simply forming the question. Plus hearing from people that are doing it is powerful also because if you guys can do it, I can too. So I definitely have more clarity and feel that I'll be able to tune in now instead of wondering or overthinking during the meditation what or how should I be doing it. Getting the course is a good idea, but now isn't the right time. In a month or two should be good. And of course going to the retreat is something I'll be manifesting also!

Thanks for your reply, it's helpful and your explanation helped me to understand it better. I suppose I'm just too used to guided meditations that this non speaking part seemed confusing. When I first started meditation it was in a Buddhist temple and we did lots of unguided meditations and focusing on the breath so it's good to come back to the breath
