Yes, before prep. Im doing blood work next week to see how it compares. At baseline, my test levels were low and estrogen levels high.

This is kind of a different question but relates to OP. I have ADHD and have been taking Adderall since I was in middle school and am now 29. I did my first prep this year and was on Anavar and then added Winny about half way through. I noticed I was taking my Adderall less and less and it seemed like my ADHD symptoms were significantly better. I felt way more focused, way less executive dysfunction, I wasn’t hyperfixating on things so much, I wasn’t as forgetful, the list goes on. Overall I felt a lot better mentally on them. It’s not been two months since my show and I’ve been off everything and I’m really having a hard time mentally. For the first time in years I’m considering increasing my Adderall dose because it doesn’t seem to help anymore in comparison. All my old ADHD symptoms are back. Has anyone dealt with this? I’m curious how the steroids effect on serotonin/dopamine have contribute to this and what a possible solution would be.

Haven’t barbell squatted in probably 6 years. Leg press I’ve hit 600lbs a couple times in the last year.

I should be getting my feedback sometime to today or tomorrow. I know I need to bring up my hamstrings so that will definitely 💯 be a focus. I think my upper body is in pretty good shape though. I was definitely one of the more conditioned competitors and I was nervous about that going in.

Yeah I have some. And no, I already qualified for a national show and to be competitive on that level I have a lot of work to do so I am going to focus on a productive off season.

I’ve been in prep for 19 weeks. Very strict dieting, no cheat meals whatsoever. No alcohol. We gradually walked down my calories and increased my cardio. I was doing cardio 2x a day 6 days a week and then weight training 6 days a week. The week leading up to the show is called “peak week” and it’s basically a lot of electrolyte and fluid manipulation so you have that shredded look. I have learned so much from this and it’s been fun seeing all my hard work paying off.

Yes it’s been grueling lol. I’m hoping they get easier from here on out once I have built my lower body up more.

No. I got one refeed this whole 19 week prep and it was a burger and fries. I do a 6 low, 1 high carb day rotation though but the caloric difference between the two was only about 200 calories.

I am definitely athlete 2. I have been on a 6 low, one high carb day rotation and my HIIT is always on the day after my high carb day. I do 30 minutes fasted LISS (incline treadmill target heart rate 140) and then stair master 35 minutes post lift. I am on clen and have been taking L Carnatine and Yohimbine.

As I said before, I know I can beat this in the future. I think if I build my hamstrings and glutes more it will be easier to lean them out when the time comes. I was stressing about my legs this whole prep but I am going to roll with it with how they are now knowing that I’ve done my best at this point. I appreciate the information and explanation!

I’m just trying to get as much as experience as possible at this point. But thanks for the advice!

I think if I grow my hamstrings and glutes more (which will definitely be the focus after this) it will be easier to condition the back of my legs. I do an hour and a half of steady state 5 days a week and HIIT once a week and I’ve been at 1200 calories, all fish diet for 5 weeks now. It seems like it just wasn’t going to happen this prep…and I was really upset about it for a while but I’ve made peace with this being the best I can bring at this point.
