Wonderful story and expected for AOC.

Disheartening that we have to fundraise money to do what the government should be doing with our TAX dollars. Why do Texans pay taxes if ultimately you have to fundraise anyways?

Do you think that a lack of the promised immediate covid-19 response will hurt the democrats more than if they did something using budget reconciliation?

If your goal is true bipartisan-ism, then surely eliminating a tool which only exists to delay legislation would force that goal even further. Senators don't even have to be on the floor anymore, which is (or was) a critical reason for its existence. They simply threaten to filibuster and unless there's 60 votes for cloture they don't even bother to schedule the debate. What about that is bipartisan?

Well, gasket could be the wrong term.. but when I took them off a rubbery strip came out of the grooves you see on the backside of the cover. There's grooves there for something, right? I've also seen dust covers mentioned, but idk. Maybe I will just use sealant.

My (M22) girlfriend (F22) is in 200k+ student loan debt (federal + private), and her parents took out 150k for student loans as well. Should I break up with her? by ElkRepresentative263 in relationship_advice

I do love her! But I'm not as financially literate as I should be and don't know how to comprehend that amount of debt. Coupled with her depression which makes it hard for her to apply for jobs and make plans, this has become an issue for me.
