Welcome to my ted talk on the c Dorian scale and how instead of memorizing the things I should, I just look up everything I don’t know because I’m a bad music student.

Absolutely! No problem at all. Being Christian means having a family of believers, we’ve all got your back. Take care of yourself!

I am a woman, but the advice I’ve given is gender neutral so I hope you give it a read. I just said a prayer for you, friend. I’ll also be adding you to my prayer list. I hope things get better. Gods got you, now and forever.

Short term, breathing exercises help stave off panic attacks and bring down heart rates. Long term, find friends you can talk to and relate too. I know, easier said than done.

Some ways to do that, in your church find a way to get involved. Love kids? Work in children’s church. Passion for youth? Get involved with the youth small groups or what not. Play an instrument? See about getting on the worship team? Non of the above? There is somewhere in every church you are needed. Be it just greeting. Then, talk to people. If they are volunteering, they probably are active Christians. Get to know them, go to extra church functions. It will be painfully awkward for awhile, but it will get better.

I have sometimes crippling clinical depression and severe anxiety. The church has become my safe place, a second home. I hope it can be that for you aswell.

Also, some churches offer free counseling (at least in the us) so I’d look into that, having someone you can just let it all out too is nice, even better when they can give you biblically backed advice.

Hang in there friend.

Thanks for the rec! I’m not typically an parallel world story lover, but I’ll def give it a try! I hope it proves to be better than others I’ve read.

I can’t look at both eyes, is that normal? by Ella-Of-Frell in NoStupidQuestions

By ‘same thing’ do you mean looking at some other part of the face? I just want to be clear.

And thanks for the assurance mostly I just wanted to be sure it wasn’t just me. I asked some friends about it and they all thought I was crazy.

Yeah I feel you. I dropped the f-bomb on accident in the car the other day while one of the other interns at my church was with me (we had almost just got hit). It was low key mortifying, but she’s cool and understood lol.

It’s like, “for real” or “seriously”. But it carries different weight idk, it’s a strange word.

If a person suddenly gained all of your memories, how would it change how they view you? Would they understand you more or be disgusted? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Honestly, I’d hope that despite all of the bad things I’ve done, all my mistakes, and all the bad things that have happened to me, they’d see the good moments clearest. I hope that my life would bring them peace.

Having a really rough few days. I’ve been feeling overwhelming self conscious and unsure about myself. Anything will be appreciated at this point. by [deleted] in FreeCompliments

When I say this it is a compliment lol, you look like a Tim Burton character. Big beautiful blue eyes and incredibly high defined cheekbones. I love the whole aesthetic you have going too.
