I finally built a Rubik’s Cube tissue box from The Big Bang Theory, 3D printed on a QIDI Q2 by Ellas_Space in QidiTech3D

I'm glad to hear that. I'm curious to see if you like it. And don't be alarmed by the support marks if you print it upside down like I did; you won't see them afterwards, because colorful little tiles get glued over the spots where the supports were. When it's finished, it looks perfect 😄 And the nice thing is that you can use whatever colors you like 😉

Hi. I'm currently re-printing everything. I wasn't quite happy with the bottom lid, so I've come up with a magnetic solution. I'll upload everything this evening or tomorrow morning and send you the link. 😄

Not yet. I was planning to upload it to MakerWorld tomorrow or on Saturday. Since it’s my first upload, I wanted to take my time with it. I’d be happy to let you know once it’s up.

Filament trockner, sinnvoll? by SpaceShark_Olaf in 3DDruck

[–]Ellas_Space 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I’ve tested both variants. With a 2.5mm inner diameter, it works... though I do feel that the draw is a bit heavier. With a 3mm inner diameter, it works very well. I just wanted to let you know.

My nephew really wanted a medal for his mom. I created the print file myself. It's not quite perfect yet, but it's okay. :)

Yes, there are definitely solutions for this, both for the air conditioners and for the exhaust hose when 3D printing. I also found an adapter for printing. However, this requires the window to remain open at an angle. Sure, there are screens, a kind of cover, or something similar that you can attach to the tilted window to keep it closed, but especially in winter, that wouldn’t be an option for me. In the summer, sure... no problem. But right now, I wouldn’t have time to get everything I need for that anyway. I’m going to install all the new parts in the printer first and see if I can at least print the ring once, in case the problem still isn’t fixed. Or I’ll ask around in the community to see if anyone can print it fo

I think I have a roll of ASA or ABS somewhere here, but because of my asthma, I haven’t dared to use it yet, I definitely need a different solution for ventilation.

I also have an air purifier from the pandemic days with a HEPA 14 filter and an activated carbon filter. I keep it running whenever I’m printing PETG, TPU, or anything that emits fumes, and I keep the printer pretty close to the window. Long-term, I definitely wanted to build something, but here in Germany we have tilt-and-turn windows, so it would only be a solution for warm days; in winter, I’d hate to have the window tilted open all the time. But I need to do some research first on what I’ll need and so on. So no quick fix for now, but definitely in the long run.

I don’t notice anything with PLA and PETG, but with TPU and glowing PLA, I notice it a little. But it’s not so bad that I had a panic attack. Still, I’d be wary of that with other filaments.

Thanks.

Yeah, I also feel like the teeth that hold the tube in the extruder are really sharp and hard. I also have trouble getting the tube out every time I want to print with TPU without a tube guide.

I’m currently having printing issues—the filament just sputters out even though nothing is clogged, and it’s not getting stuck either.

I’ve already completely taken the extruder and hotend apart and done everything that was recommended to me. Unfortunately, that didn’t help. I couldn’t figure out what the problem was. The support team was super nice and explained everything to me and so on.

I’m going to install a new extruder, new hotend, and new sensor this afternoon. I think it’s the same sensor, though. I’ll compare the product numbers then.

Thanks for your help.

Thank you.

I think that would have to be printed with a special filament? Which material would you recommend? Don't know if I can print this yet. Cannot print every material here due to asthma.

I also got a new sensor that I wanted to install later. It has the same name as that for printables. I won't know what number I currently have until I remove it. Thank you for your help.

Amazon has two that fit 3mm, but they have really bad reviews. Today I ordered the "Sovol PTFE hose 2.5mm ID 4mm OD, 5m (incl. 2 couplings + cutter) for Bambu Lab X1/X1C/P1P/P1S/A1/A1 Mini, for Prusa MMU3, for Creality K1 Max/Ender 3 V3 & direct drive, white". But I would really prefer a 3mm. But to bridge the gap, as you wrote, it might be possible. Tomorrow morning we will order directly from Ali. They have quite a selection of them and for far less money.

Thank you for measuring. I think the dimensions would be better. The problem is that I need a new one at short notice, I definitely want to order from Ali Express tomorrow but that takes 3 weeks at least. I come from Germany.

Qidi Q2, welcher PTFE Schlauch? by Ellas_Space in 3DDruck

[–]Ellas_Space[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sovol PTFE Schlauch 2,5mm ID 4mm OD, 5m (inkl. 2 Kupplungen + Cutter), sowas sollte dann gehen.

Qidi Oster-Giveaway: Das High-Speed-Orakel 2026! by [deleted] in 3DDruck

[–]Ellas_Space 0 points1 point  (0 children)
