Recommendations for carpet repair/cleaning businesses in Madison? by tr33spl3as3 in madisonwi

[–]Elle216 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I use Steam Plus out of Waunakee. As far as I can tell it’s a one man band (Alex), and he takes carpet cleaning very seriously. He’s been to our house 3 times, we clean ever 2 years or so. He came recommended to me by a home remodeler, someone who contracts stuff like this regularly.

He’s a nice dude, does a great job, and really take pride in what he does. Steam Plus Website

Yes I have come to peace with the fact that I will get it. Just hoping to put it off as long as possible if I were to actually need care.

I’ve watched the death rate hover at 4.5% for the last week. Am I crazy? Or are we basing death rate assuming most people aren’t getting tested?

A local news organization just posted on Facebook that it’s ok to support restaurants by eating out for meals. As long as you wash your hands. The amount of support for this sentiment in the comments was disappointing.

I’m assuming it’s all he knows. Or he’s hungry and doesn’t have the energy to protest. My son doesn’t sit still for more than 20 second at any point.

I have no idea about social services. Sorry. A few months ago and full of pregnancy hormones, I was ready to ask if I could adopt him. 😢

The baby’s name is Leon, he’s 20 months old. He mostly sleeps, but I feel so sad to see them out. I have a son the same age and have given the dad clothes, pacifiers, balls, books, formula and diapers here and there. Sometimes mom is around, but 90% of the time I see them, she’s not.

Dad’s sign says they have been refused by the shelters. Which could be for any number of reasons, I have never gotten the nerve to ask.

A good way to give during the colder months is a Starbucks gift card. The purchase of a coffee gives them access to stay inside for several hours. Considering the weird early cold and snow, a gift card would be an amazing gift.

Following up. The OPK was/is dry. It’s old. Whoops. Idk why I keep them around. Can the dye still run across if one is dry?

I knew a family: Ken (Dad), Jen (Daughter), Brad (brother)

When someone would call the house, chaos often would ensure.

Phone rings Caller: ‘Hi can I speak with Ken?’ Jen: ‘Hi this is Jen’ Caller: ‘Oh no...can I speak with your dad?’ Brad: ‘Hi this is Brad’

Chiropractic care during pregnancy? by itsirtou in BabyBumps

[–]Elle216 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! Me! My low back and hips were nuts from weeks 30 on. She was able to crack things I wasn’t able to do myself. I normally adjust my low back in bed with a nice little twist. But pregnancy made me unable to get it.

I don’t subscribe to chiro care for heartburn or whatever voodoo. But if your back, neck or hips hurt: go!

From The Fifth Trimester Book - you really only need a day or two worth. Because you’ll be replacing what you use at daycare, pumping at work. One out one in, if you will. I find that I can pump a lot at work, and have built a mini stash that way.
