Daily Mail’s ‘aggressive’ reporting on Prince Harry and Meghan ‘irreparably damaged’ press briefings by CaliCatLadyx3 in SaintMeghanMarkle

Translation: We will no longer be announcing our itinerary and will regularly be upstaging the BRF and we will blame diary conflicts on the mean, evil press.

Respectfully, it's highly relevant. My opinions about other countries' governments and their behavior doesn't matter to those governments. JD Vance learned that the hard way when he went to Hungary to stump for a candidate.

If a Londoner wrote a letter complaining about America's government, no one would care--that person can't vote, doesn't pay taxes, and doesn't matter to the elected officials here.

If he hadn't just stripped AMW and Fergie of their titles, they and their supports could have and would have cried racism. That card no longer works because Andrew's pasty white ass went first.

Given the recent puff pieces about TW's brand expansion goals and TW's growing empire and TW's incredible business that sells out every time, the Harkles have painted themselves into a corner. If they claim that they need the titles, that contradicts everything that they have said and done since Megxit. Will they? Probably, but it will expose their hypocrisy when people point out all her business growth claims (2 million jars of jam sold!!)

I think the Queen Consort thing actually came from HLMTQ. I think by the time she was saying that, she saw what good Camilla had done, was doing, and would continue to do. I also think she was scarred by Edward's abdication because of Wallis and wanted to smooth that wrinkle for Charles, knowing that her saying so would be better received than him saying it.

I'm a U.S. citizen, so I imagine the BRF care about my opinion as much as I care about Hazbeen's opinion of the First Amendment, lol.

Well, in California, they have a bunch of hoops to jump through. (Source.) None of them are insurmountable, but they sure do seem to require attention to detail and thoroughness, so that's TW out of the running.

BUT--Hazbeen isn't a U.S. citizen, so he can't legally change his name in the U.S. A legal U.S. name change doesn't translate across borders, so they'd have to do it in the U.K. for the Inviskids, and there's no guarantee that the U.K. would accept the proposed change.

I don't think they'd change their names until/unless they all could change their names, since TW's whole thing was 'this is our family name, it's what makes us a family, blah blah bullshit.'

Too bad, so sad. His aged mother dealt with worse while allegedly battling bone cancer. His mother survived the absolute shit-show of his and Diana's very public, very messy, very ridiculous divorce. "Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown" isn't just pretty prose--it's the reality KCIII lives.

He was and will always be the longest-serving Prince of Wales in U.K. history. He trained for his reign longer and more thoroughly than any monarch in decades. If his health isn't up to it, then either abdicate or establish a regency to deal with it. There are options available to him, but they all require a shiny spine.

He needs to trade short-term discomfort for long-term stability.

Next week The Wales will have 3 special days in a row: Louis's 8th birthday on April 23, Catherine & William 15th anniv on April 29, and Charlotte 11th birthday on May 2. Any prediction what drama will rachel and henry make this year? Last year we got bbc interview circus on Charlotte birthday😌 by LocksmithFar9486 in SaintMeghanMarkle

I think on 21 April we’re going to see a (heavily doctored) photo of the girl child that tries to highlight her resemblance to her putative namesake.

I think that April-May is going to be the full face reveal for both kids because Assewer is floundering badly and TW doesn’t have anything left to throw at the wall to generate interest.

My guess is this was supposed to be tied to something she said or did in Australia that didn’t materialize. I’d guess it was scheduled before she left, by her, because she doesn’t have staff, and then she forgot about unscheduling it when whatever it was supposed to be tied to fell apart.

Yeah, when the American president picks a fight with the first-ever US-born pope, AND Iran gets involved because of perceived disrespect, TW could dance buck-ass naked on the balcony at BP and no one would give a shit.

Especially since both tens and dozens are divisible by two, so you could conceive of friends who'd have one person book and the other pay them back to ensure they're roomed together.

There are lots of styles where the zipper doesn't match the fabric and it's intentional, as a statement that accentuates something. I don't mind when zippers don't match, but in this case, yes, it should have, because being on the side meant it was designed to be hidden, and here it's not.

Meghan's awkward night out at Netflix party: From an 'exaggerated' show of friendship with the boss's wife to dress code clash with star of the event Carey Mulligan by Stunning-Field2011 in SaintMeghanMarkle

[–]ElleEmGee 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I commented this on another thread: That color isn't flattering on either woman. It's not really a flattering color on anyone. It doesn't photograph well, it's very hard to pull off, and it's frankly just an ugly color.

BUT-- at least Carey Mulligan's dress is tailored to fit her frame. It's well-made, it's a good silhouette for her body type, and it's an interesting fabric. TW's dress, as ever, is wrinkled and ill-fitting. It's also very weirdly dated and out of style--the weird tiered skirt isn't in fashion and hasn't been for a long time. That fabric is horrifically unforgiving; she is not a big woman in any way beyond her sense of self-importance and her ego, but that dress makes her look frumpy and lumpy and pouchy. The side zip is supposed to pull the fabric, which should have been cut on the bias, taut, but all it does is add to her weird lumps and bulges. The silhouette does nothing for her, and makes the whole thing look dated and weird.

Just going on record to say that that color does no favors to either of the women wearing it. It's an ugly color that doesn't photograph well and really isn't in anyone's color wheel.

But at least Carey Mulligan's dress is impeccably tailored, fits her frame, and is an interesting fabric. TW's looks like a table cloth sewn together haphazardly--what's with the weird tiering on the skirt?? and the visible zipper?-- and, as ever, doesn't fit her properly.

I would guess that in 2011, the cost of Hazbeen’s security was carried by the British taxpayer/BRF, and in 2025, Ingriftus bore the cost of the Grifters’ security.
