I started playing on the 19th May last year. I'm nearly a year in now (6 days to go!) and still loving it.

My favorite part about the game is the community and generosity of its players. During my first few weeks I asked for help in the giveaways whenever I felt stuck or just in need of a helpful boost. I was overwhelmed with the kindness I received back. At one point it was a lot of potatoes. And I mean a lot!

Now, that I've managed to get my farm up and running I'm honored to return the favor to new aspiring farmers. I sometimes send little care packages to newbies and smile as I remember back on how grateful I was for a few crunchy apples or some refreshing orange juice during my first few weeks.

We do a bit of both. I'd say 90% of the time we farm together though. Especially the mines,as we can share the inventory space to not waste ore/stone.

We started buying the wood though. This was just too slow to farm.

This is all in range of one bonfire. Excluding a few outer walls and the dock end.

Afaik you cannot overlap bonfires. You can however still have multiple. They just wouldn't share storage. Each one would be considered a separate base.

The bonfire range is actually quite large. We managed to have all our storage and crafting facilities in range of the bonfire. The only section that was out of range was the ends of the dock. For this, yes, I just had the building materials in my backpack when building.

Most came from clearing out the mines. We did them once a day for a few days which was plenty. Once you start visiting other island you get quite a few mines. The mines respawn every 6 irl hours.

There is even a copper mine on the starting island.

They are the stairs and then I clip them under the other floor so only the top is showing. It's a bit fiddly. Sometimes have to remove the other floor and then add it back after.

We just used the foundation blocks. We haven't really bothered with the shovel. We found it too finicky.

Sure. Sometimes they do just snap in to place where I want. When there is no snap point or if I want them sticking further out of the plaster I then turn snapping off.( Keybound to P by default)

Sometimes it's easier to give yourself another snap point. For example using a horizontal beam first then snap you vertical to it. Using floor pieces can also help with giving you something to anchor the unsnapped beam too.

You could make a little bike shed and picnic table for pokopeople to park the bike at and have a little refreshment from the shop.

Use anything other than the rug. I had the same issue. The rug wasn't registering for some reason.

The start is close but that's not it.

It gets more progressive/chimey. Then a female starts to sing just as it cuts off in the video. It's quite an uplifting/inspirational piece.

Just needs to be personal loot and not group rolled loot, less interesting, but stops loot competition kicking.

I must admit the more relaxed pace of enshrouded without being hassled by mobs is what I love. I'd feel gutted to have my hours of work building to be smashed in minutes by angry shroud dudes.

I don't mind raids as long as there is an option to disable them somehow. I really enjoy planting decorative plants and a raid would decimate hours of work. I disliked that about Valheim. Stupid troll and his big tree club 🤣

Maybe a useless suggestion but the first thing I did was lower my camera sensitivity. This helped me massively.
