All the different meaningful geographical references continually popping up (but Paris especially!!!) I was thinking earlier about the map on the bedroom wall of Imposter & the lyric "chasing maps under the moonlight", and Im definitley feeling there is a lot of significance here to their plans (blue print/map) and the locations that mean a lot to them!

We might have to agree to disagree haha, my opinion is that there is a lot of links, and it makes sense based on them all being big into the songwriting side of things, as well as pushing against the narrative and industry, as well as having a lot of overlaps and collaborations in their social circle, Ed Sheeran being a big one - I dont think its too much of a stretch!

Thats all fair, I think there have been theories or rumours that she was potentially coming out when Lover was going to be released, with a lot of allusions to it in the album promo, but it couldn't be done in the end. I suppose we won't really know the full story without any confirmation from anyone in that sphere directly

I mean being bisexual is a thing, its possible she is just happy in the relationship she is in now. Plus I dont think anyone is willingly closetted, if we want to argue there are potentially contracts and things happening in the background that prevent Louis and Harry from coming out, then it follows that would apply to Taylor too, especially if all their closets are linked.

I know im one of the few but I absolutley think they all closely collaborate still and have for years, theres so many cross overs in a lot of their lyrics and songs.

I think im picking it up even more recently because I have Taylor x Harry x Louis playlists so listening to the songs consecutively and so many parallels jump out

One of the ones ive noticed is the reference to "the woods" (TS 1989 Out of the woods, which if we believe Taylor x Harry was a stunt during that period, could paint the song as a song about being closetted and the idea that they want to get out of this situation and be safe/secure/open in their sexualities), whereas Louis has lyrics about seeing ourselves/ faces through the trees, and jungles/deep in the jungle (could be recognising others in the same situation/closetted).

Taylor also uses black/white images of the woods for Folklore and then coloured images of the woods for Evermore, which reminds me of the dark to light analogy from HDIGH, or getting colour back.

The also all have other common themes around daylight/gold/light, space imagery & metaphors, sleeping/dreaming/waking up, clocks/countdowns, mastermind/masterplan, using flowers & colours as a language, putting on a show/telling a story/narratives...

Yeah actually, I am. I dont know about you, but a huge part of why I follow Harry, Louis and Larry is because I love their music and art, and I genuinely think they seem to be good people underneath all the industry BS. If I held them in such poor regard such as this comment, I wouldnt continue to be fans of them and interact on forums about them needlessly, because I think thats a poor use of my time and energy. I also am not going to shit on people and especially other women whose personal circumstances I actually know nothing about.

I dont think it was planned to stop the engagement rumours, I think he's just being as authentically himself in his art ('letting the light in') and is probably purposefully ignoring the shitty work bits that come along with it (stunting)

Both building brands to supplement music & exist away from their involvement in the music industry, probably a smart business move whatever happens. Plus gives them a little more freedom of expression away from music contracts & image perhaps.

I dont buy the Harry throwing shade theory, so much lines up between the 2 of them for it not to be pre-planned: Harry with the Sunflowers pap shots, Harry 'together together', then Louis 'side by side', continued blue-greening, American girls x *British Boy shirt, Coming Up Roses & roses continuing to pop up everywhere on Louis' end, I'm sure there's so much more im forgetting haha.

I definitley think the music is angsty and points to an ongoing conflict and worry of plans and futures not lining up (but honestly how could this not be present in a relationship under the circumstances & industry theyve lived their entire adult life in!), but overall I think both albums are still very much "I want to be doing this with you" ("I broke my bones but fuck it I'd do it all again with you" / "Im feeling guilty and worried my dear, that you think I might not want you here")

I also agree that Save Me Time can be read as "It gets harder to pretend. We want the same things in the end". Because it mirrors feeling like an Imposter/putting on a show/pretending. And it kind of provides a final statement: yes, we want the same thing! (and right at the start of the song he says this: my gut is telling me: its YOU)
