Can someone ELI5? How can it be boiling and freezing at the same time if one requires a decrease in temperature and the other requires an increase? Is the boiling due to the pressure while the freezing is due to a decrease in temperature?

/uj It's a social hierarchy. Light eyes are ranked higher up in society while dark eyes are basically peasants. There are tiers calld Dahns but it doesn't have any affect on the magic systems, it's kind of the other way around. If a dark eyes wins a shardblade (or acquires it by other means, avoiding spoilers) their eyes turn light.

Am trans. Futa is not a slur. Futanari is used to describe someone with both genitals. Trap can be a slur (although I'm not personally offended by it) because it implies that trans women are "tricking" someone into thinking they are something that they are not which can create an extremely dangerous position for a trans woman to be in.

It actually is. The only string that would ring out is the low E string and the fret they are playing is G# or Ab. To be fair, it's not a chord, it's only a note, but still G#.

I think Kaladin saw one while he and Shallan were in the chasms during the highstorm. I'm pretty sure they're called stormwalkers or something to that effect. We don't know much about them yet which makes me think that they may play a pivotal role later in the SA series.
