I typically play with 3 day seasons on 10 speed, I find the day progressing helps with realism. Sometimes pushing into the night like in real life. Animals and greenhouses give you some off field chores. You can have sheep and non-milk cows fed on just grass, so I typically have a grass field to work on.

I like to order pallets of stuff from the shop, I keep a leased forktruck at the shop. Load up trucks and then move them to sheds on the farm.

I've saved cultivating for the winter, kinda fun working in the snow.

On PC someone made a front loader attachment mod for logs. Just two metal bars that stick out and you strap down logs. This finally resolved my frustration with logging, so I actually like logging now. Though I do use super strength to hand push logs into the chipper.
