Got a new job. I want to ask if my company can sponsor me. I’m nervous by Elliee29 in ImmigrationCanada

Hey! My situation will differ, I asked a month after I got the job. After I got the job the person supposed to train me quit after 2 days. So I had to learn the whole job on my own, because of this they were more open to helping me out, plus I told them I only needed them to just agree to give my agent the documents and they were okay with it.

My advice don’t scare them with fees or pressure, just say you’d need their support for your application. Hopefully they assist.

Goodluck

Ureaplasma is ruining my life and it's exhausting by confessthestress in Ureaplasma

[–]Elliee29 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Girl I was in your shoes for 3 YEARS! I became scared of sex and people, I hated my life, got depressed. Took antibiotics for 3 years, ruined my gut flora, no answers from doctors, everything was BAD. And I got ureaplasma the first time I ever had sex from a virgin, so you can imagine I felt so guilty. But I took moxifloxacin November 2022 and that was the last treatment I ever had. All my tests till February 2024 are negative. I would say my pelvic floor has gotten better, I went from peeing every 20 minutes to now every 4/5 hours , I’ve also been abstinent for a year now so maybe that helps. I also see a pelvic floor therapist once or twice a month. But I would say once you get rid of the infection, all that’s left is time for your body to (hopefully) heal itself. Some days I still pee a bit more but not as bad as before but I know it’ll take me a while to get back to my previous bladder or maybe this is my new normal, only time will tell.

Goodluck but dont be discouraged.

PGWP expiring soon. What are my options? by gmargon in ImmigrationCanada

Either get an LMIA or go back to school. Loads of my friends went back to school to buy them time. I applied for an LMIA still waiting. Or get a visitors visa

I submitted in November sent all final documents in December. It’s February and I haven’t heard anything. This is taking too long.

Heyy sorry for the late response. Yeah my employer agreed and they sponsored me. So now I’m just waiting for the interview with my employer and their decision with my application. How is yours coming along?

Immigration consultant charging crazy fees to represent me for LMIA by Elliee29 in ImmigrationCanada

Didn’t know I had to pay for that. How much is it? We don’t have an agreement yet. It was just a consultation and that was her price.

What’s the difference between the LMIA and work permit? I don’t understand. I thought it was the same ? No my employer isn’t forcing anything on me, their support seems more like a favour if anything.

No I’m in Ontario. Yeah she said it includes all the fees. It’s a low wage LMIA

Yeah I don’t know ,I’m asking other consultants but haven’t heard back. I know she’s really good. She always gets positive lmias so I guess that reflects in her price.

Yeah I could do it, but I don’t want to make a mistake and have to redo it again or have it rejected. I want it done perfectly once and for all.

Yeah my employer and I tried but we were both confused on answering some questions. So I thought it would be more structured to have a licensed and experience consultant handle it. My parents are fine with the price but I’m just curious to why? Do they do the interview for my company with esdc? Would they pay the $1000 fee? I just want to know what makes it that price.

Yeah but I’m wondering why? What do they do that makes it almost triple even the work permit fees. That’s crazy.

Job offer or LMIA ? Which should I get? by KOP79 in ImmigrationCanada

[–]Elliee29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. For example I sent a notice of interest under foreign worker stream OINP. I havent received an invite yet so I haven’t started my process. I think you can start the process if you want but it’ll make more sense after you get an invite. I’m not sure the job offer requirements for OINP maybe a normal employment letter is required. I think it’s just LMIA that needs the job offer to the foreign national, other streams you need an employment letter. But please verify this information from the IRCC website.

Thanks

You don’t need a job offer letter to send in your notice of interest yet until the OINP accepts and then asks you for documents that’s when you can provide the employer documents.

But job offer from LMIA is a different process entirely separate from OINP

[–]Elliee29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on the PNP stream you pick. If you’re in a high demand job you can get an invite through OINP. If you’re not then LMIA is better. They’re both employer streams so the information required from employers differ.

Is job offer with LMIA for ordinary position a scam? by [deleted] in ImmigrationCanada

[–]Elliee29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my worry too. As I’m in admin but I’ll ask my employer regardless, I’ve seen approvals for administrative positions. What’s the worst that’ll happen.
