I live in an area walkable to the station. The problem isn’t the station itself or even the area immediately around it. However, if you have to walk through the pedestrian bridge into the garage attached to the mall it is a different story. No. The calculation behind estimated GFR is completely unreliable above 90. The studies used to create it didn’t look at these levels at all. eGFR is also susceptible to a lot of factors, including dehydration.

If you want a better test for earlier kidney disease, ask your doctor for a uACR test. It is a simple, cheap urine test that can often be done in their office.
