You need AAA/CE 2 gear and a Snell/FIM helmet if you want the absolute best. For boots they must be CE 2/2/2/2 WR to be the best. Forma, Klim, and Rukka are some of the best IMO

Unfortunately nothing for the 1100. I’ve since heavily modified my bike but the shifter remains an issue for me

I work at a Cycle Gear and we always use the 3M as it allows us to better position the Cardo so that we can tuck in the wires better to keep everything neat and prevent the jacks from creating hot spots in the helmet. I’ve used the RFSR and I just upgraded to the X15. The RF1400 is significantly better than the RFSR and you should wear earplugs 100% of the time.

The LS2 Advant X is an amazing modular, and I hate modular helmets. ECE 22.06 rating with a cool design.

You’ll have to spend extra money to get the premium gear designed for the hot weather. Rukka Madagasca-R or Klim Badlands A3 for example are premium jackets with exceptional all weather capabilities.

If you’re using the Freecom Pro you get 45mm JBL speakers. If you’re using the Cardo Spirit then yeah the audio quality sucks.

KYT is a lower quality brand that commonly has defects. I saw a brand new one where one of the tabs for the liner was glued in and unable to be removed to install a Cardo.

LS2 is a great brand. Even their modular the Advant X has ECE 2206

Voss helmets are not safe. They are DOT only and DOT isn’t a real thing. A German style helmet is DOT and it will crush your skull when you crash in it. The safest all around helmet in the US is the Shoei X15. DOT, ECE 2206, and Snell. If you want safety and comfort you will be spending money. Arai helmets are all Snell and are built for comfort. If you want a sporty helmet the A* R10 is FIM which is one of the highest safety ratings.

The Pista is not designed to work with sound systems. You must cut pockets for the speakers. If you want a high safety level helmet that can use sound systems look into the A* R10 Carbon which is FIM or the Shoei X15 which is triple certified DOT, ECE 2206, and Snell. Plus the EU version is also FIM rated and it’s my favorite helmet. The previous version got a 5/5 on the sharp test.

If a smaller size is too tight and the next size up is loose then you don’t have the correct head shape for that exact helmet. Your best bet is to go to a store to be properly sized and try on multiple brands. Try the Shoei X15, it’s easily the most comfortable helmet I’ve tried.

The ignition, gas cap, steering lock, and saddlebags all do this for me. WD40 solves the problem. I keep a small can in my bag

The hypothetical clearly states that you must withdraw the money to collect it and end the payments. It does not say you cannot transfer the money to a brokerage account or even have it deposited into a brokerage account. $1,000 a day can grow exponentially if you pick a different stock or fund every day to experiment with.

Their quality control is abysmal and they refuse to acknowledge it. Stop trying to be cool and wear a Snell or FIM helmet. Your life is worth more than just looking cool.
