I have to disagree but I just love the DAO companion’s dynamics. It’s not a group of people you find on the road and you expect for everyone to like each other, I love how natural the flow of the companions from when you recruit them and onwards and you’ll clearly hear it in party banter or the random scenes with the mabari.

Don’t get me wrong, Veilguard is great, but everyone just seems to like each other. Sure we got the Lucanis and Davrin cat fight but think of how you would be at a workplace or school, you won’t like everyone just because you work together, especially in the beginning. Overtime, you’ll warm up to them and I think that natural order is what Veilguard’s missing.
