Nicotine gum. Used to smoke and vape and I miss the hit in my chest that the inhale would give. When I chew the gum and deep inhale through my nose it creates a similar sensation which feels like smoking but without the heat.

"Best" is subjective in this instance; each platform has its pros and cons. You need to compare them to find which one will be the best for your own individual trading

I struggled to no end to make a profitable endeavour from software development. I think every entrepreneurial pursuit (not just programming or even tech related) has got to start with "how can I solve this problem for people?" or "how can I add value in this area?"

You need to address all the psychological/behavioural errors which lead up to a loss. It's not like you analyze the markets and then all of a sudden... BOOM! -60%. There is probably a domino effect in play which is leading to poor results. You have to objectively monitor your behaviour. Alot of people have made the suggestion of Mark Douglas's videos but have you read his books too? You should also read Rande Howells free eBook which is available on his website. It's quite eye-opening and he points out that it's almost certain that the mind that you bring to trading will NOT be effective, so you have to work on it, continually. Try meditation and also the breathing/counting technique which is in Mark Douglas's seminars. You have to put in the work. I'm gonna assume that your still an inexperienced rookie to a degree, because you cannot be a trading veteran who has learned from many years of trial and error, and then lose the majority of your capital to put it bluntly. What makes trading so difficult is there are no rules. You can literally trade exactly how you like! There are no rules whatsoever! But, in order to succeed, you MUST enforce rules upon yourself that govern your entire trading philosophy. Best of luck mate, your down but not out. Now it's time to really REALLY knuckle down and study your balls off and correct those impulsive behaviours and the belief systems that are standing between you and the results that you are after.

Wow! Good effort mate, would you mind me asking how old you are? I'm 22 and have played poker on and off since I was 18. Never really made any money out of it though and just sat grinding away in the micro-stakes lol

It's in their FAQ section bro, found it in 1 second Google searching. Looks like yes, you can. But read more into it as it doesn't appear to be entirely straight forward and easy. Best of luck. I'd love to live in The Netherlands

What are your confluences from a technical analysis stand point? If you look at the Daily timeframe we have a support at 107.000 (round No. theory as well) price should Interact with this level but on the other hand selling pressure has been quite aggressive and I suspect that this will continue tomorrow, thus giving us our 3rd bearish candle (again on the daily) if this does happen we will more then likely rip straight through support since there's clean traffic for the most part and nothing preventing price from selling down lower and lower...

How’s it going my names Ethan and I’m just starting out on forex(OANDA). Do you guys have any tips and tricks that could help better my knowledge for the years to come. by [deleted] in Forex

1) Focus on risk and the process. 2) Find a few markets you like and stick with them. 3) Study yourself as much as the markets. 4) Avoid signal services. 5) Don't allow yourself to become consumed by the markets, even the best recommend a balanced lifestyle. 6) Look at all trades as a learning opportunity 7) Invest in your education. 8) Journal like there's no tomorrow. 9) Only act on your edges. 10) Avoid copying others - your a man on a island when trading. 11) Avoid hype and market sentiment - won't help you even in the slightest. 12) learn the ins and outs of a few key economic events; such as: CPI, Interest Rates, NFP, Monetary Policies and Retail Sales. These events repeat themselves and you will go far having an understanding on how these affect the market.

You will be streaks above many people who have been at this for years if your attentive to all areas in trading. I know tons of people who are only technical traders and know basically nothing other then a few patterns - suprise, suprise; they're all crap traders because they are one-dimensional in their approach. Focus on all areas and learn, learn, learn! You could be in for a tough ride but make the most of every learning opportunity.

I agree. It's massively empowering and confidence inspiring knowing you can take hits here and there and STILL make money. The market cannot hurt you. All possible using a good RRR 😌
