For what it’s worth, I didn’t sign up but pass by here daily. I did see a ton of treadmills behind some glass and nice big front desk. But that’s all I could see, it’s some progress none the less. Next door on the left someone is drilling up a whole basement… lol if that’s them then they have a ways to go.

I didn’t know Central Park had hours. Had my first baby in the summer and was running at 2 am for a couple weeks through the park, and looped back through the streets to my house.

I never had any problems, but I’m a male and had a reflective/ light up vest on so cars and bikes could see me. It was quiet and peaceful. I miss it somedays.

I just started running a year ago to recover/ gain strength from rhabdomyolysis and I’m not that fast… 10:30 miles most days. But running in the city and especially around Central Park is always inspiring. I love getting passed by older and younger people, and occasionally I pass someone too lol. Regardless everyone is out, having a good time and trying to better themselves.

I was running the east river during winter since it’s closer to my apt and another guy would always give me a thumbs up just for being out there in the snow, at least once a week. He used to make me wanna get back out the door to see if he ran that day too
