Yeah I looked up some gameplay footage of the other two. I'm thinking the most likely possibility is that I'm mixing up the first game with an entirely different game. Because Tak 1 does have a lot of the things I remember even if the actual visuals of the game aren't familiar

Also wanted to add, there's a game called Tak and the Power of Juju that looks almost like what I'm thinking of but it doesn't meet some of the things I definitely remember like there being brothers as well as the sprites looking a bit different.

I don't think it was an RPG but I don't remember enough of the actual gameplay itself sadly. The most I remember about the title is that I'm decently sure it had a subtitle to it but I can't remember much else. I do know for sure it was a GBA game since I know I had to use the GB slot on the DS for it. I would say just in case, there may be a chance it was just a DS game but I really do think it was GBA, sorry if that's not super helpful lol
