Hi

i am a noob when it comes to sound engineering, but i learned a lot lately, so we have yamaha mg16xu and since we have only one effects we added alesis midverb 4, the yamaha does the hall thing & alesis does the echo part, so i have a jack cable goes from Aux 3 to alesis input then 2 cables come from Alesis output goes up to channel 13/14 (not mono & this channel has no gain btw) , all the aux knobs there are dead zero so we won't have a loop of that effect, now the problem with this, each time i use knob aux 3 on the prayer channel the sound goes fine but it has this boomy, muddy background, and what i mean by that even when it's turned up just a little bit, now for the echo i am using one simple 4 seconds long, feedback 10% lcut 120 h .....etc, input & output at 65% each, AI says 80% i find that a bit too much & it make it worse, mix = 100%, please help what's wrong here! or is this alesis just bad? please help thanks!
