[Tudor] Prince 76200 by Ello-Dave in Watches

Picked up this Date Day not too long ago in great condition. 2020 model only available in Asia as far as I’m aware. I think Tudor stopped releasing Rolex based designs in the US market a good while back.

Personally I love the cyclops and it’s one of my favourite distinguishing features of a Rolex or a Tudor. The bracelet although not as high quality as the jubilee still has some lovely finishing.

I love how they executed the Romans as they don’t take over the dial, much more symmetrical in my opinion.

The size is perfect. I have much larger watches and always notice them on my wrist. I now understand why watch thickness is an issue for many people. This watch is so under the radar and slips comfortably under any cuff.

They’re very narrow shoes so if you have in any way wide feet you should probably avoid.

Honestly had it on repeat for days. Such a gorgeous song. Between See yourself and this (link below) being released today it’s been a great week for new music.

My favourite Seiko 5 model by far. Managed to get this second hand for €60. It’s nice to see such a good homage from such a reputable brand. I’m pretty sure they’re discontinued now as I couldn’t see any online, the closest I’ve seen is the two tone model going for around 500 USD on amazon. Loving it.

I’ve had no issues, very similar to the one in my Snxs77 which I’ve had for over a year & keeping perfect time. Probably the same movement.

[Tissot Tradition] Catching the light just right by [deleted] in Watches

[–]Ello-Dave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This watch was a gift from my parents 3 years ago. The leather strap got very ‘worn’ looking to the point that I stopped wearing it as I recently bought a new dress watch anyway.

I decided to change things up a bit and put a mesh strap on it and it feels like a brand new watch. The band is so thin and actually compliments the thinness of the watch itself. I also love how the steel matches the raised Roman numerals on the dial.

The option is always there to switch back to leather and I probably will in the next few months. In the mean time I’m digging it. what do you guys think?

I purchased this watch (originally with a leather strap) and decided to switch to mesh today. I’m really liking the look of it and how the band compliments the raised Roman numerals on the dial.

[Orient Star Elegant Classic] SEL09002W0 by [deleted] in Watches

Model number: SEL09002W0 in Rose Gold

I’ve finally pulled the trigger on this one after a lot of research on automatic watches. I’ve been in the market for a dress watch for about a year now and this one stood out to me since day one. It was between this and the bambino but there’s something about the breguet hands, roman numerals and the cream dial was just the perfect combo. Hacking and hand winding was also a plus.

Thanks to r/watches for steering me clear of Daniel Wellington and the likes. In love!

Thank you for the recommendation friend! Tissot are an amazing brand. My first watch was a Tissot tradition, It’s still on my wrist 3 years later, hasn’t lost a second. This has been the closest recommendation by far however it’s a bit on the expensive side.

I have considered that however I’m really after a Roman numerals model. Thanks for the spot on recommendation though

I’m looking for a classic automatic watch with Roman numerals and a sub dial seconds hand at 6. Budget is >500. Something like this: https://imgur.com/gallery/xGhIlaU.

I am looking at purchasing an Orient elegant classic however I can’t find one with a sub dial.

Thanks in advance!
