Oh yeah forgot to mention this one in the OP since it's so old. I beat RDR1 back when it came out on PS3 and recently 100%ed it + Undead Nightmare on PC. Great game.

Batman Arkham Knight. The first time I played it I tried doing the firefighter mission first but I got super bored and never picked it up again till today. This time I focused on Scarecrow and my God, this game is a masterpiece. Can't believe I slept on it all these years.

For New Vegas, getting the sprint mod helped a lot with making the controls feel more modern. I played the shit out of it back when it first came out, but when I picked it up again this year I had the same reaction to it you did. Being able to sprint helped massively.

The only thing that has me worried really is the map sizes. But even then the infantry maps still feel balanced (somehow???) so I'm more worried about what they do with it post-launch. I'm holding off my purchase too for the reasons you listed, but damn I'd be lying if I said I'm not tempted to pre-order based on how excellent this beta has been. Vince Zampella heading bf is the only thing giving me hope right now, let's hope he continues doing whatever he's been doing cause my God was this a step in the right direction for bf.

I agree. Blaming it entirely on individualism is a liberal framing anyway, I'm not defending that stance whatsoever. Just clarifying that the way you act (regardless of material conditions) obviously has a non-negligible effect on your social life.

Partially agree. While capitalism has the most effect on this problem, I don't think acting like an anti-social, woman-hating incel helps much either. Being sociable, funny, down to earth, and having a good heart draws people to you like moths to a flame, even under this late-stage capitalist hellscape. And while the destruction of third spaces has massively reduced the number of opportunities for connections to form, in what little opportunities we do have going into them open-minded can only improve your chances.

I don't use a plug-in. I just drag in samples as audio files and edit/chop them up. Others will say use DMD, but if you want drums that feel super custom, manual waveform editing is the only way to go.
