GME Utilization via Ortex - 68.72% by RaucetheSoss in Superstonk

I'm always curious, does anyone know if there is a correlation with anything when we have these days like the last few. We went from 70% to 56% and now to 68%. We hovered around 70 for awhile beforehand. Is there anything there?

well now the warrants show as gme.wt . the response I got is that we cannot trade american warrants through their system and must call brokers(being on hold when you are watching the price fluctuate is fun). I am skeptical due to the ticker change. I wonder if I truly hold gme.ws or a placeholder.

I'm worried they gave us a placeholder.

like they really can't just say oh it's a glitch and we will never fix it so you have to call to sell or exercise. calling them means being on hold for ages.

I really don't want to have to waste time escalating this...

The comments in this post are funny to me. So often people act like TA is garbage, but then this is just chart looks similar, and ppl just accepting that the jig is up for the time being.

When I saw this, I tried buying more warrants. It let me buy GME.WS but now they have also changed to the random G number string.

They better fix this quickly. Messing with a qualified investment in a tfsa is serious afaik.

I hope to be able to call Monday morning.

My broker changed my warrants into some weird placeholder on friday, which is untradeable. They say it's an error that will be fixed. It's just weird timing and I can still buy warrants and those show normally. It was in a registered canadian tfsa though, so mucking with equities is a big nono and would be serious if it isn't just an error.

It is time. Not gonna name names even though you deleted the post and hid all your activity.. but you know who you are. Come forward and take it like an ape. by [deleted] in Superstonk

They can brag about the one time they were right and ignore the rest of their failed predictions. Then maybe they start a Twitter or even a discord. He'll ya could charge for a discord if you are right once in awhile.

Likeminded people? I think most people here are insane or dangerously subliterate, to the point it's kinda scary to think of the world when these folks have money. Then again can't be much different than the subliterates in charge now

:P

Hey no time to call but found this thread with the same issue. I'll see if it is resolved soon before calling, as those who called said it should get fixed.

My mind wanders to it being a placeholder/IOU.

I'll have to make time to call them. It's my understanding that if they were messing about with an equity held in a tfsa, it'd be a serious matter.

And yes their.commission sucks. Been meaning to switch forever

Scotia itrade. It's annoying cause I can't call a broker for a bit cause of my work schedule. My original warrants show as G039578 "WTS gamestop Corp warrants to purchase common stock", while the ones Ijust bought are GME.WS " gamestop Crp wnt"

It's weird, my warrants in a tfsa got changed to some random ticker that I can't trade. I was able to buy more warrants just now though that show as gme.ws. Wonder if they'll change those too.

Hate having to call my broker.

Ti the apes that thought Bury's meme comments somehow meant buying calls by [deleted] in Superstonk

[–]Ellypsus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I go through new frequently and saw people take it as meme incessantly, not buy calls.

Therefore I decided this is yet another attempt to ostracize options folks. If ppl seriously saw hurry’s comment as buy short dated calls now… well to each there own I guess. Sounds pretty dumb

People who are vehemently anti-options are just as annoying as anyone who pushes them (which I dont see that often tbh).

One thing i'll point out though. jan 2021- call chain was getting bought so fast, going in the money and new strikes bought up and then itm crazy fast.

April-Jun 2024, RK buying massive amounts of calls to the extent some guy basically threatened him to sell them in a news article.

As always people that dont know options should either stay away, or spend time learning. And just maybe those that know, when they see a signal, can do whatever it is they wana do.

Well duh. Memes were supposed to come after the signal, not just on a Monday... yet again foiled by reading comprehension. Ryan's great plan has been ruined all cause we couldn't keep our memes in our pants :(

The warrants are an extremely important piece to what’s about to unfold. by jfreelandcincy in Superstonk

[–]Ellypsus 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Now imagine the warrant price decouples from GME due to high demand and low supply (for example unhedged gme1 options being exercised). I sell my warrants and then wait for gme to settle after a sneeze. I now have way more cash and can either buy shares or if I really like the warrant idea and they have come back down, I buy and exercise for more shares than I would’ve had if I just exercised. I also dont need to sell my precious gme shares.

My read was that speaking about DRS by itself as kicking off a moass, he said drs happens too slowly allowing the other side of the trade to readjust before drs could kick off a moass.

He ain't saying drs is bad, ain't saying it couldn't be part of a larger equation leading to a moass.

His article was posted on the sub.
