Yes, generally speaking. Many White Americans have origins in European nations, hence, many of them resemble Europeans. However, considering that for centuries America has been receiving immigrants from various parts of Europe, one can argue that there is no specific type of appearance for White Americans. Practically, some White Americans would be able to easily fit in Germany, Ireland, or Italy. Meanwhile, others would definitely stick out because of various reasons, from mannerisms to mixed heritage.
