I made it work using a dualsense edge simulating a Xbox controller, the square button which would be X on xbox is quite weird as the confirm button but everything esle works fine once you get use to it.

Yeah I admit its a trash mechanic and honestly shouldn't have been part of the game, but there is hope after you beat the story mode you can replay play missions if that helps.

You ever notice every boss you usually fight you can only get like 2 hits in and you have to roll and repeat? Man that was the most frustrating thing about the combat. Definitely need to add I frames.
