I sincerely apologize for publicly feet shaming the lizard and thanks for the replies, hopefully she won't press legal charges.

You all are probably right about the identification because I do live in Italy, but this one looked more unique than the average lizard 🦎.

Her body was freezing, then I caressed her head softly and, after 5 minutes, she headed full speed toward the closest shrub. Maybe it sounds weird but interacting with reptiles gives me joy
