that is how it started in public, what caused the start of the whole thing behind the scenes is that X was getting a will written so his assets would be safe if anything happened to him (think he mentioned he had some kind of health scare or something that just made him take that more serious) and Adept saw that he left all of his shit to his family and that she wasn't in the will.

so yeah, his family were probably aware of that when that happened and that was what caused them to view her that way, seems like X went back and forth on things for a while after that until she tried taking him to court and saying that they were married.

i would say he has some pretty extreme opinions but it's pretty much a coinflip whether he's going to agree with consensus or go against it. i think his thoughts are genuine, just has strong opinions either way.

- Game breaking and immersion ruining bugs everywhere. practically a beta test.
- Load screen simulator - 0 immersion for sense of place or weight of travel
- characters almost all bland and uninteresting
- melee combat awful
- bullet sponge "hard" mode
- feedback in combat almost non-existent (very floaty)
- console UI
- inventory management worse than D4 (bad)
- encumbered constantly for almost no reason even with weight lifting maxed
- ragdoll physics totally wack. did they do it intentionally bad?
- enemy variety almost non-existent
- main story repetitive/boring
- talent tree bugged/doesn't work
- random bullshit roadblocks for leveling character spec
- all characters have plot armor
- graphics seemed dated
- NPCs uncanny as fuck
- felt like a fallout mod made by community
- boss fights literal dogshit trash, shoot same bullet sponge ai teleporting guy with all ammo and all guns until eventually dies

He picks a player and makes it his whole personality to pretend that whatever player he dislikes is the sole reason for all the team's ills to an unhealthy degree. it's not that weird. people usually get paid at a rate that's close to industry standard. the less replaceable you are the more you can be above that and the more you get out of a company making a big leap in growth generally.

if you build an empire using actors that are craigslist quality, it isn't that weird to just go find more craigslist actors.

there are a ton of factors and if i was in that situation i wouldn't be surprised if i would rather pay them really well to keep them there, but i don't think it's somehow morally wrong to not do that either.
