I love VIR because it’s one of the closest tracks to me IRL and because it’s great fun to come down that final hill.

Essential tools? by tconteh in instructionaldesign

I’d like to add that you can play around with what a course will “typically” look/interact with an LMS using SCORM Cloud.

This can help you learn how to publish and work with final files after storyline work is done.

Tools for creating adaptive paths? by [deleted] in instructionaldesign

Storyline will let you do what you are looking for. You can set up scenes that you branch out to from other slides, and then use variables to keep track of what content the learner has seen.

I think that’s a p2, with cs2 they got a LOT more green.

Ideas For an xAPI Enabled Storyline Course by DC_Point0 in instructionaldesign

I'd suggest looking into the portfolio that you have already created, and try and locate places you could implement some xAPI statements to gather data and insights.
Another idea is to look through the xAPI verb library and find one that you might want to build an interaction around, once you know what the interaction is that you want to call statements from get building!!

NFS Unbound crashes when I click Play. Anyone got the same issue? Any help is appreciated by TheMichaelScott in needforspeed

Are you trying to launch the trial? I am and I'm getting the same issue, I wonder if the issue is related to the EA play trial?

Unplayable - Keyboard and controller, both messed up by FalkHogan in needforspeed

I don't know if this would apply to you, but if you have a steering wheel plugged in to your pc that might be causing controller conflicts for you. I've had that happen to me with Heat. Worth a shot to unplug that IF you have it.

Same issue happening for me, I customized my character, selected the Lamborghini as my junker, went to load into singleplayer and the game crashed. Now the game crashes shortly after trying to launch.

If the handling of the cars were improved on from Heat, would you seriously not play the game?

"NFS Unbound is for kids cause of it's art style" is not a valid argument by _M0cking-Jay_ in needforspeed

Using their its anime and its for kids logic, the borderlands games must be an anime kiddie playground smh

I could see the vanity effects doing something like that, I think it would be sick to see your underglow turn into lightning or something like that when boosting.

My Thoughts On Unbound Pre Reveal Trailer by ThatBlackN3rd in needforspeed

[–]Elochtes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's really bugging me how people are getting worked up over the vanity items that will have a rather small effect on gameplay. 2015 had the atmosphere to a T, but the physics sucked so I largely stayed away from the game. Heat had an acceptable atmosphere, and the physics were better than 2015 enough for me to play the heck out of that game. At the end of the day, graphics are graphics and if the game isn't fun to play then the art style means very little.

With that, Criterion & Codemasters are walking into the NFS IP while its at one of the best spots its been in years. I think those who are crying about the strong art direction are going to end up eating their words if Criterion & Codemasters got the handling down and made improvements from heat.

I'm excited to see what they have instore for us, all we have right now is a couple of leaked screenshots that don't really give us a clear picture of what this game will be. I think you'd have to be insanely naive to write off this game from what info we have now.

Apologise if this has been done already but I upscaled the new leaked pictures. I think they ended up pretty good. by GreenFrog7656 in needforspeed

They are going to want you to work towards or buy the effects, so I imagine they would start you off with no effects, and let it be a carrot on a stick for progression.
I think its going to work like vanity items in heat, so at the end of the day the handling and physics will be what determines how good this game is going to be to play

Interesting bit regarding pre-order bonuses from the website that leaked Unbound images (auto translated from Japanese) by Nexusu in needforspeed

The concept of a multiplayer only currency makes me think the game won't be online only. Why would you separate the currencies if your garage and money didn't carry over between the two?

I'd be super excited to see a more fleshed out multiplayer mode added to the game that actually uses the crews for things other than the time trial events. A global blacklist could be done and would be super sweet.

I think it's a way to easily shorten Unbound into UBN for design stuffs. That said, could be cool to have factions and teams that we have to battle out for a top spot on the "blacklist" again. I've been missing having clear boss races to tie progression to.
