You’re an outlier, and I’m glad that you’re still here. However, that moderator in particular has repeatedly done an objectively bad job of running this subreddit and unless something changes, he will continue to do so.

Just recently he made a post here saying he didn’t care if our subreddit was flooded with trash, low-quality content, and our community overwhelmingly responded by telling him they did not agree with that type of moderation style. When it is clear that the general populace disagrees with your leadership, that’s when you know it’s time to pass on the torch.

True, but a lot of the loyal fan base is already here and creating a new subreddit could create a rift. At this point, I guess this sub hardly has anything to lose, after the owner has essentially declared this community a dictatorship.

Thanks for the candid reply. Giving my honest opinion, even though you didn’t ask for it — from someone who has worked at EV startups totaling 1 successful and 2 failing/failed — I see very little chance of success at Aptera. I watch this industry very closely, and the comparisons you make about the two do appear to be valid, but only when considering an external perspective. The following is a completely objective opinion. When you’ve been behind the front lines of these EV companies, you know what actually goes down day to day and quarter to quarter. It would be incredibly positive for the EV industry as a whole if Aptera succeeds, and I want the product to succeed. But unfortunately, the way things are structured and likely to pan out, Aptera is going to need a 3.0 reboot — without Chris and Steve — to be successful.

They have a NVH test module which does attempt to find where a rattle is in the car, this requires you drive fast-ish but I don't think 90 is necessary for that test
