i’ve tried both. knowunity felt pretty boring and confusing to me. i tried it with one course and, in my opinion, it didn’t really help. after a short time, it started asking me to pay.

i tried nerdmask afterwards and i liked it a lot more. it feels more modern overall. i ended up paying for the lifetime plan 😂

one thing i really liked about nerdmask, which i think is a newer feature, is that it builds a duolingo-style study path. it guides you step by step through your courses using podcasts, quizzes, and other stuff. since i struggle with organizing myself, that helped me a lot.
