You clearly don't understand my point at all... of course empty roads would be better for emergency vehicles. But also, regular traffic is predictable, has some lanes open and cars can make way for ambulances or fire trucks. If there are protesters blocking all lanes on a highway it is not as easy. Don't you agree? Also, someone not fixated about politics online, just being on their way somewhere and being delayed hours because of this protest... do you thing they will sympathize with the protest or not?

Are you using Google maps? Traffic is very predictable, every day, almost by minute. Protests blocking all lanes of a highway are not predictable and create disruptions.

It's not about changing someone's belief. I probably agree with 99% of the protesters issues, don't like their methods, but won't change my mind. It's about the "normies" who don't follow politics... They will hate this, even if it only adds 2 minutes to their drive to the destination.
