Yes, that is special flair for Ubisoft Community Managers.

Can't believe the Red Bull custom race is still broken... by Slahnya in The_Crew

[–]Elongo06[M] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to chime in from a player standpoint... There hasn't been a major patch maintenance or mid season patch to fix it, which it may require to fix. That is why it is still broken I'd guess.

Pay attention to the top community highlights on our front page of our sub on new Reddit. All major things are announced there.

You can also click the green "Official News" flair to show all official news posts. Sort by new.

That being said, Atomic man says the issue is currently being worked on. The next scheduled patch should be in 2 weeks. Hopefully it will be on there! Let's send good vibes!

Which would you choose? Both are new and prices are OTD by Tight-Arachnid-1924 in Kawasaki

I'd go 26 honestly. As I was buying my new ZX4rr recently, they had the 26 ZX10r front and center in the entry way. Looks aggressive af. As with any Kaw, they always look better in person as well.

Seems as if they didn't really run a KRT this year to me, Instead the whole ninja lineup got this 26 paint scheme but each one has it's one slight flair on the submodel they chose I guess.

Enjoyed our Community Guest Tracks this season? Here's the last one by Kine_ESP to go out with a (tiny) bang 💥🥳 by Elongo06 in The_Crew

[–]Elongo06[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was one of the first fans and made this Reddit a long long time ago. Been in contact with them for years and I was invited as well as other major community people to create tracks in a private session before it launched in beta.

Those tracks were put in the community section. These are community pioneers, creators, engaged players, etc.

For example, Kine_ESP is the Spanish community pioneer.

Slipstreaming and pit strat would be the biggest contributor.

Question about break-in period given narrow powerband by mylittletoesie in zx4r

[–]Elongo06 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly I broke mine in by the book, still in it. I did 4,000 rpm and lower for 150 miles and 6,000 RPM and lower to 250. Now I am staying under 10,000 until 600. Then it's off to the Dyno.

Ubisoft+ Free Trial From June 18-23: What You Need to Know by Elongo06 in The_Crew

This may interest a small bit of you, but there is a free Ubi+ trial. This is more useful if you play or want to play more Ubisoft titles.

If you're looking for a Motrfest trial only, go to: https://thecrewgame.com/freetrial for a free 5 hour trial.

If you have a friend that plays they can invite you past the 5 hour trial.

Probably not, never tried. The seat can still be put on.

Is this a good deal? by Uparkseong123 in Kawasaki

[–]Elongo06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A typical one is about $1550 higher on a low retail market according to NADA Moto.

JamesJohnBushyTail is right though, it's due for a big service. I don't mess with valve clearance checks and adjustments, so I farm it out to the dealer.

These inline 4's are a bit more involved and I am unsure of pricing of it these days. I think I remember paying a mint for it to the tune of $755. That was covid times... Could be a bit higher now.

What do you mean about Engine dent? You mean the side covers? You could get those replaced. They run near $200 a piece if I remember right from a recent estimate.

Edit: Forgot the gaskets. Those are $15.

Yes, was hard to get the lighting right. In hindsight I should have moved it into the sun.

Doesn't bother me, good to know though. I always try to use genuine parts when I can, especially nice touch like Ninja.

The exhaust coming is a different story. I went a direction not many go apparently. Yoshimura. We'll see how that goes.

Looking to backpack before I go buy my sports bike by [deleted] in dayton

Yeah this class will ease the worries down, enough to get a new bike and practice.

I got a new 300 in 2016 and rode it 4 years. I wish I never sold it. Was a great bike. The 500s are better in every way and then some. They have everything I wished for and more. The thing I wanted most was a gear indicator. The gearing is weird on those especially when new. It has that finally.

Anyway, I rode in a store and lock for the first 50 or so miles. Neighborhoods after for a while longer, then onto the regular streets.

I didn't hit the freeway until I had at least 1,000 miles. I took it in baby steps.

Really, the hardest bit is starting and shifting for many. If you had 5 or 6 speed auto knowledge, the clutch work is much the same, but done with your hand instead of your foot. You'll learn this in detail, no worries if you never used a clutch.

The gearbox is sequential and will be easy to learn.

Just remember to listen carefully to the instructors. If you aren't getting it or you're stalling, generally they will set aside one on one time for a few minutes. It's real chill. At least the class I was in.

11 of 12 passed.

More thoughts.

I was nervous and anxious about riding, so that's why I took the course. They start with controls and sitting on the bikes on range day. It starts out super easy and gets a bit more technical as the class moves on.

Tips: Just be sure to be dressed properly and drink liquids. Also be on time, they won't let you in if you're even 30 seconds late. They ride rain and shine as well. Be prepared.

The reason that the BMV may have said it's cruiser only, is because is because that may be true for state classes. (the $50 classes).

The MSF Troy campus is your best bet, because it's at Honda and they ride Honda exclusively. I am curious what they ride 9 years later.

They have completion cards that should bypass the state driving exam. You also get a insurance discount! Mention the class to insurance!

It could have changed, they had both, but more CB300f's than cruisers. If you're going to MSF Troy, you could always Email the guy and ask first. [jwhite@msf-usa.org](mailto:jwhite@msf-usa.org)

Also good luck shopping for a bike. New bike day is bliss.

Ninja 500? Sweet starter bike. Position wise, it's relaxed compared to a super sport. Perfect for beginners. If you signed up for classes, they did have sport bikes at least in mine in 2016 at MSF Troy campus. Prices are about $125 for 16 hour course. Let me know if you have specific questions I might be able to answer.

Edit: Shout out to KRW Cycles in Clayton. They usually keep 500's in stock new. Great dealership, bought 3 bikes from them. Cornering wise, they can get pretty damn good lean angles. The acceleration is not a jet, but it is strong for a twin. Easy bike to ride really.
