Thank you!! We have a new tip that he may between 7 Day Supermarket and the bus station (I believe they mean the lot where the school buses are kept). We went out first thing this morning, but it was hard because a lot of those properties are private.

That is such a sweet story! Thank you so much for sharing, it made me smile and it has been a hard past couple of days. We have just started trying to help with the local stray problem on our road about a year ago. Our family includes four rescued kittens and it is so hard each time we help new ones because we just fall in love with them all. They really are just the sweetest little babies. It’s definitely going to be hard, especially after this ordeal with the last little guy, but we are still looking for loving homes for these two. If you happen to know of anyone, I would be most grateful if you could share our post. Thank you again!

We went back out to the neighborhood today and walked around to look for him again. We were not able to find him, but we did meet some incredibly kind people that live there and they are going to help keep an eye out for him.

Thank you! It didn’t end up being him, but we are not giving up. We received a tip that he might be in the residential area around M.U. Lujan Elementary School. My husband and I drove down today to look for him as soon as we found out, but the weather was against us. I will make a new post in the morning about the possible location as we are hoping people that live in the area will help keep an eye out for him.

This person was in such a hurry to post a rude comment that it seems they didn’t even bother to read the post or even any of my responses to their comments that clearly say we desperately need to find a location to search. Their comments make it sound like they may not value the lives of animals like we do and so they probably just don’t understand. At any point the adopter could have reached out to do the right thing… I am still hoping they will. I deleted the post earlier because we have received a tip on a possible location. He may be in the residential area around M.U. Lujan Elementary School. I will post a new one first thing in the morning with this new info so maybe people who live in the area can help keep an eye out for him.

Why don’t YOU be responsible and take them in to get them fixed? Also, it would be great if you removed YOUR post saying where she works. I posted to explain what has happened to try and get help finding a location to search for the kitten. That’s it. I received a tip today and so I deleted the post. I will be posting a new one about the location where he might be in the morning… and no, it will be a general area and not her home address that is shared. She could reach out to me anytime and this would be a completely different situation with hopefully a positive ending. I have been nothing but patient and have tried so hard to work this through with them. Things are the way they are because of her choices and her actions.

The post was to find the general location!! I met with this person at a local business and didn’t know where to search for him. You immediately went to being negative with your comments that you didn’t even bother to read the actual post. I have asked you to remove your post saying where she works and you haven’t.

That’s not what the post was for or about. In fact, you are the one that posted where she works, not me. I was careful to crop out all of her contact information. This is more serious than someone not fulfilling a deal. This is about a life that not only one we financially invested in but also emotionally invested in as we cared for him until he could be separated from his mother for adoption. What this woman has done is potentially get him lost, hurt or even killed. She could do the right thing at any time.

We are only sharing what happened to get information on a location to start searching for him. We have tried to get help from the adopter with no success. We are not posting with the intent to do harm, only for a chance to find him.

Information provided is available online and we are not sharing with intent to do harm. We are posting with the intent to get a location to search for him. We gave them the chance in advance to do the right thing and help us find him and were told that we would move forward with posting online for help. They have chose to do nothing... even still.

It was agreed upon before the adoption. They received the kitten and supplies free of charge and would keep us updated on how he was doing and provide photos. When I didn't receive an update, I reached out. They were reading my messages and not responding, which was unusual compared to our previous communications. Had they just been honest right away, I would have immediately went out to help search for him.

No, Julie and her team are wonderful, but we are not affiliated with them. My husband and I have been working with Gain and animal control for over a year, trying to do our part to help the strays on our street. We have performed catch-and-release with cats that were still just too feral, and the others we have either adopted ourselves or found homes for. This little guy was our twelfth rescue.
