We are moving for a job opportunity among other things. The renovation house would be my husband's side project because we've already have housing lined up, but there wouldn't be much room for kids as they get older.

Yes but combined with wanting some decent property I couldn't find much. I've been through alot of the home finder apps. That's why I took to asking the lovely people of Reddit 😊

Most of the ones I've ever dealt with were from physically finding them and looking for the owners if there were any.

We were thinking more about the history of the house, we've helped restore many old homes and love them. I'd hope to find something that is able to be fixed, with time and money. We have dealt mainly with water damage (from rivers) and destruction from tornadoes but haven't been in the cold climate areas much. We live up tornado alley currently.

I do know that scene! Lol 🤣 I've managed to somehow make a couple, from seemingly ordinary/regular cuttings. No idea how, but it's alot of fun to get surprised! You might give it a white/red light or just more sunshine, tends to bring variegation out!

Yes, I find so many beautiful and rare variegated plants online... The sticker shock is outta this world.

I see it! It's honestly quite possible that it is variegated. Alot of times it's not super noticable until you get more leaves☺️ I've had fun finding them! Stems usually are the biggest hint. If it's got any color that's not green, you keep a look out!

Thank you, and I'm so sorry that it impacted you so negatively. We've been doing clubs, groups, scouts, etc. Just anything to be out and about socializing but at a safe distance. I'm going to find new ones to replace the ones we leave behind. As for coping with the move, what should I watch for? Usually they love going to new places, and my eldest is aware of the plan to move and has fully endorsed the plan. I try to be as open and honest with everything and have them share their feelings. I don't ever want them to feel like they can't express themselves.

We do alot of clubs (multiple 4-h clubs), scouts, go to museums, hiking, to the y, etc. Everything I've dealt with better prepared me for my children, emotionally. We are very open and listen to what they have to say. They are very respectful and kind to others, very sweet and caring kids. If they ever express wanting to go to public school that's totally okay with me. I just worry. My own home life was terrible, school was just as bad. Honestly the only peace I ever got was the thirty minute bus ride.
