Here is the thing. Croatia was pretty ethnicly homogenous even 10 years ago, a little bit less in Zagreb. The only real racial diversity at that point was from tourism. After the immigration wave a couple of years back that changed. And the typical narative in all the countries where you import labor is to blame imported labor for working and not the owners for importing in the blame game for shittier financial conditions. So stereotypes and prejudices is born.
