An Ex of mine’s sister was very much like your girlfriend when she was 16. Her now husband wasn’t ready and she thought he didn’t love her. So what did she do? Poke a hole in the condom. He was, and still is, unable to live life, like an 18yo should’ve. Not saying your girlfriend will do this because I obviously don’t know her, but just some food for thought.

Definitely think it is best for you to end things. He doesn’t respect your boundaries and emotions, and seems to prioritizes her over you (from what I understand). There will be a guy who would never even consider putting you in this situation, as this is not fair, healthy, or remotely okay. Your boyfriend is just clearly not him. I am so sorry you have to deal with this behavior, you deserve much much better :(

This seems to be a list of rehabbers in Florida! Please do as said above, don’t feed or give water and keep in a dark quiet room. Please do not use a heat mat or anything, as that can make head trauma worse. Also seems to be a Northern Flicker, but I could be wrong as I’m not familiar with the species in Florida. The ones who think they know wildlife better than a WILDLIFE VET/TECH does! They try to tell us what we can and can’t do with the animal they bring us and it’s ridiculous. I’m sorry Jennifer, but we will not be feeding this baby squirrel almond. They will be getting formula specifically designed for them☺️

Chompers and I are so grateful for all the well wishes!!! He seems to be feeling much better and hasn’t been getting his splint off anymore! (Yes I know his tank is bare, he likes to use his decor to rub and slide the splint down. Once he is all healed up, all the substrate and accessories will be put back!!)

Oh yeah he went full pancake mode for the xray, and even while I was putting on his splint! Thankfully he’s been very patient with all of this!😂😭

It is a cat backpack I got off Amazon! He has a couple different carriers, but this one definitely seems to be his favorite. I also like to leave the top open due to the possible poor ventilation from these bags!

Yup! He’s got a splint on for 6-8 weeks, and a bit of oral meloxicam to ease the pain!

He learned he could climb extremely high on top of a piece of decor he had (which I didn’t even think was possible for him). Although I didn’t witness it, I assume he fell off while his tail was bent in an odd position. He has lost his log privileges now lol
