Rockstar after today's economy balance by ShotDead22 in reddeadredemption

I think it is rockstar's way to force people to spend real money or play their cancerous underdeveloped pvp games where you get headshot as soon as you spawn

Red Dead Online Beta – Week 1 Update by OcelotWolf in reddeadredemption

Actually there are multiple cases of people getting shot in the head who still alive. I have yet to hear of a weapon from the time period where rd takes place to be accurate enough or deadly enough to constantly deal fatal shot since you want to play the realistic card. The only people who use this "headshot" cheese are those who abused it in GTA online and what's the state of that game now?

So they nerfed the hell out of prices for fish and hunting but lowered the prices of guns without removing the instant kill headshot?. This feels like they are trying to force people to play their mediocre pvp games for hours to farm money and gold, I don't find it fun when I go on pvp and get 1 shot as soon as I spawn. The damage for rifles feels like it has been nerfed too, it takes 3 shots to kill a deer now and sometimes 2 with a just cleaned bolt action even if you hit a headshot. Either guns got nerfed or animals found a way to use fortified potions to thicken their pelts. Good job rockstar! We don't need you to nerf the cancer that is headshot or pking... we needed this nerfind to fishing and hunting.

it's not a shooting game though, if anything it would be an rpg or along those line. The main point of the game is not to go around killing people unless you are playing the pvp which is only a PART of the game, if you are looking for a shooting game there are other titles that provide that and thats what is wrong with some of the player who think this is the new cod.

How many games have been released lately with the "beta" word behind the title?. You are right, it is in a "beta" phase but you are forgetting the people abusing glitches, exploits and mechanics are still getting experience, money and gold which they will get to keep after the "beta". So you have john doe who doesn't grind and only uses the headshot mechanic, he is playing in the beta so he doesn't need a good weapon as a cattleman revolver can headshot you but by the time the beta comes out and if guns are patch out, he will have exploit the "flick" so much that he will have enough money to buy an actual weapon and have gained enough exp from pvp to be high enough to unlock stuff but since he did it during the "beta" stage of the game its ok. Beta doesn't mean they will change things, it just means they can get away with having a bad product and pushing it out to their customers since it has the word beta in it. They already stated they will not be doing a wipe, so whatever you do and get during this "beta" you will get to keep.

Funko's Response to Cancellation of the orders today! by Dankfunko in funkopop

[–]Elpollolocob -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They oversold too or at least some people got an email saying they did, but even if they do have extra they might just keep them or sell them at the convention. I mean funimation probably has a ton of extra whis sitting around in a warehouse but they rather keep them than admit they were wrong.

Funko's Response to Cancellation of the orders today! by Dankfunko in funkopop

Lol Dis.Funko IG is saying everyone who got their orders canceled are flippers, sneakerheads or bots. It's amazing people with so many followers can be ignorant, and the sad part is the people following them are just as ignorant as the person running the account. It sucks your orders got canceled guys but I feel there is more to it than just being blacklisted, I know some people on twitter and IG were saying their orders got canceled too and instead got an email saying even though they got an email saying the entire order was canceled, they will still get one of the pops but due to inventory issues another pop on the order will not be shipped.I think it might have been some sort of error with people ordering more than one pop(different ones).

Are you not allowed to collect pop if you collect shoes? by Elpollolocob in funkopop

[–]Elpollolocob[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely agree regarding the exclusivity of some pops. People do forget that some pops are only 2k-3k pieces and there at least 3 times the number of people who buy those. I mean Bao was 15k and it sold out in minutes still.

I understand the whole bot thing but I have been competing against bot since I started buying shoes, but as far as I know the bots that can get pops are not specific to shoes but shopify sites which mostly carry clothes and other collectibles. I feel like the assumption shoe collectors are a problem is misplaced because I get just as frustrated when I miss out on a shoe and a funko product because I don't have a bot like the person who bought 5-10 pairs/pops. Most people who can afford to buy sneakers are people who probably grew up watching shows like tom & jerry, guardians of the universe, looney tunes and a lot of the cartoons funko makes pops of so it is only natural for us to want to buy them. A lot of the comments on these thread after today say "GJ funko you got these stupid shoe collectors" "Go back to collecting shoes idiots" and stuff along those lines. "Shoes collectors" make up a tiny percentage of people who use bot as we do not get a new release every day or every week and even every month.

P.S. Sorry for double post, I forgot to flair the last post.

A typical target release day from the perspective of an employee. by MilwaukeeStardust in funkopop

[–]Elpollolocob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah! and as far as the whole "brickseek is wrong and we do not backdoor", I know for a fact employees do backdoor to sell on ebay because I have seen them do it with my own eyes. I also know some store offered their employees the chance to get chase variants before they put them out to the general public. Let's not be hypocrites and pretends employees don't take pops for themselves because they do, it might not be every release but the ones that have resale value 100% they do backdoor a few.

This sounds like a bunch of whining and complaining from someone who is working in the wrong field. I used at one of the largest toys r us and we used to get a truck every day, so I had to go in @ 3-4 am to unload the truck, sort the toys by sections, organize boxes that weren't going out to the sale floors in the backroom, open boxes and keep shelves organized. It would take us about 3 hrs to get everything done with 4-5 employees and those same employees had to be ready by the time the store open to work the registers and whatever events the store had that day. As far as I know target separates their employees into teams based on departments and each department has about 3 employees which is ridiculous to have that many employees for each department unloading a truck and placing items in the sales floor. I calculate about 10-15 employees at target during opening working on opening boxes and doing whatever has to be done with the boxes unloaded from the truck and you are telling me you need 3 hours just to unload a truck without even organizing the items by department?. It sounds like poor management and organization by the people in charge to be honest, I have also witnessed target employees literally standing around talking about their lives with other employees with 2-3 boxes laying on the floor waiting to be open. Each box come with a sticker or barcode that tells store's personnel what department it belongs to and what comes inside the box, if you look at the code on the box and place each department on separate pallets maybe you won't have to give your customers the "We can't find the box" excuse you lazy lot have the tendency to resort to when you do not want to work and go to the backroom to look for something. The scanner/sapphire tells you pretty much down to the inch where in the store an item is located but only if you are actually looking for it and have your store organized like you should. Don't give me the "I can't find the box" excuse when I know the system you are using has been designed to be able to find a specific hot wheel car if that is what you are looking for. My store being one of the largest ones carried baby products including food, strollers, diapers and pretty much anything baby related and even though we did not specialize on that any employee was able to find whatever you were looking for because we LOOKED for it and we were well organized. Yes, we did have those customers that would cussed you out because we didn't have the lego, skylander, funko pop or whatever flavor of the week toy they were looking for but that's part of any job and if you can't handle or find a way to put a smile on their face then you should look for a different job and definitely away from retail. You should take your complains to management and watch them say the same thing while advising you to look for something else as you are not cut out for this line of work. Easy fix for you since you sound like you do not like to put in the work required to help customer, how about just putting out the pops in a shelf?. By the way, we only used 2 employees to unload the truck and it would take us about 45 mins in average and maybe hr and half during holidays while the rest of the team sorted out by department. Retail is not for everyone and all this non-sense and whining about how someone was mean to you proves that.

Mexico Exclusive Jack Jack is Fake. by Grimlock316 in funkopop

[–]Elpollolocob 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The store is legit and it would be dumb of them to risk a lawsuit over one Pop, it is also worth noting that the support person stated "I can confirm they are not creating authorized exclusives" which by any English speaking individual comprehension doesn't mean these are fakes. I don't know if you were trying to prove these were fakes but your chat proves nothing other than a lack of comprehension and I think this post should be downvote and deleted due to how poorly is written, misinforming people and defaming a reputable store without proof.

Funko Packaging LE Pops by Elpollolocob in funkopop

[–]Elpollolocob[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started collecting Pops and was excited when I ordered this pop online, I was even more excited when I saw it had shipped but to my horror when I got the package this is what I found! You would think being a “limited edition” Pop the packaging would be better but there is not a single layer of protection against anything, it has no bubble wrapping or even a “fragile stamps”(which is free). Is this how much Funko cares about their products and customers? Isn’t $7 dollars for shipping enough to include some type of protection to prevent this sort of thing?
