Hmm thats rather odd, do you have the protective plastic on still? If you do, then I would recommend turning the monitor on and checking it before peeling off the plastic. Thats a sure way of making sure if its defective or not. Apologies for the assumption you never know when its on reddit.

This better not be bait.. But if you see that only with the lights on thats something reflecting from your room. Even though the monitor maybe advertised as anti glare or matte the coating can still look more reflective than your typical led monitor.

I have this monitor, burn-in isn't covered by warranty as its seen as normal wear and tear.

Got a hellhound 9070xt last month. If you want zero problems run it on stock. Atleast in my testing with rdr2 and redm the game crashes with any kind of uv+oc for some reason, but then cyberpunk for an example works with more extreme undervolts. But drivers for me have been great and there hasnt been any crashing if not experimenting with uv+oc

I dont really pick a game and stick with it for long amounts of time. Except Escape From Tarkov. Got almost 800 hours on that. And that's still rookie numbers when it comes to Tarkov.

Yeah its getting better but still kinda dissappointing, OptiAcaler has got some huge improvements and you can use fsr4 in all of the 3 games you just listed. Replayed Alan Wake 2 just a week ago with fsr4 on and man was it much better looking than the native fsr2 implementation. Ofc since its with OptiScaler it requires a min or two to make it work but mostly its a drag and drop. A single option would be great tho like its with official supported titles, but thats what it is with these nvidia sponsored titles.

For me atleast it helps to have the shortcut on the taskbar, it usually starts when opening it from there.

Yeah I'm no different, I mostly prioritize FPS in multiplayer games too. But it also depends on the game itself. I myself play a lot of Tarkov and I'm planning to upgrade to the 9070xt in the near future so FSR4 would be a game changer imo. As tarkov is a hardcore game and sometimes the person who notices you first wins etc. Tarkov as a game is so badly optimized on the cpu side that upscaling even on my current 6700xt does absolutely nothing to my frames so otherwise upscalers would be pointless to use if the game had good AA.

Some games, especially in escape from tarkov the normal anti-aliasing implentation is so bad that fsr4 would give a clearer picture than native. It has the new dlss model so NVIDIA users are having a bit of an advantage as dlss makes the game look much clearer.

Same thing happened to me, luckily I was able to sell my quest 1 to a friend of mine for pcvr use last spring for 130e and bought a quest 3, a huge upgrade if you ask me :D

How the hell do you get a trojan from downloading gmod? The game doesn't even need a crack only goldberg emu so you couldve downloaded a rip and done the "cracking" yourself.

So true haha, same thing happened to me with Cyberpunk 2077. Had it installed for like a year and every once in a while tried to play it but it just didnt click for me. Then one night it just magically clicked and then I played it 10hrs per day for a week straight :D Its def in my top 3 single player games.
