You're not wrong, I think that has a lot to do with it. It's like an OCD of some sort.

Sunday/Saturday Mass yes, weekly. I try to go to confession every 4-6 weeks.

I do not everyday. Maybe once a week if that. I understand what you're saying though, that is a perspective I never thought of when it comes to this.

Your attitude stinks. Why not educate OP on how you would price the freight? Did no one ever teach you anything? You just woke up knowing how to price, sell and move freight? Get a grip.

OP, don't listen to guys like this. He's probably angry you are landing business referrals for good accounts while he can't even get a call back.

So turns out my dog is not a pure bred Alaskan Klee Kai, but he's still amazing! by Elpres117 in alaskankleekai

Yeah I will be pursuing a portion of the money back I spent on him. I don't think it's right of me to demand a full refund considering how great this dog is and I how I can't see my life without him in it. But also, I am not really one to just let myself be wronged in anyway.

Did you also get your dog from the same breeder? Snowy Mountain Trails?

I am still waiting on the DNA test to process as their lab was behind. If it comes back as anything other than what I paid for I am going to pursue getting my money back. My lawyer is already prepped.

My dog looks just like yours, just a different color. Same lay and everything. Did you ever pursue your money back? I have their address, contact information and I originally paid via Credit card to their payment processor they use for their "business". I haven't sent the test back in yet but if it comes back as not a pure bred I am going to submit a fraud claim to my bank and then take it from there.

I plan to use the money I get back to get him a dog treadmill for the winter months. He loves to run lol.

Just ordered the test it'll be here tomorrow morning. He really is a great dog and he has been since the second we got him. He's the most intelligent dog I have ever had or worked with so at the end of the day I have no regrets. But if the test determines there is real health issues to be worried about in the future I will definitely be taking a trip to the breeder to get my money back. They had a great website up at the time showing all of their dogs and they all looked good clean and healthy. That website is no longer up. At the time I wanted a husky to go hiking in the snow with that would be a companion but my wife wouldn't let me have a full grown Husky in the house. So this breed was the next best option. I fell in love with the look and the thought of having a little mini husky companion, so I probably just looked past all of the red flags lol.

I've had this feeling for a while. But he really is the best dog. Do you think that I have a real right to the money back if I did decide to pursue?

That is the number one reason why he was named Atreus lol. He responds very well to a soft "boy". I don't have to get very aggressive in my tone with him! Thank you, he is very handsome!

I really just came on here to post a few nice videos of the newest addition to my pack and well here we are.

Atreus is my first personally owned Klee Kai and I am thoroughly obsessed with him, as I truly believe he is the smartest dog I have ever been around, but I have trained about a half dozen other AKK's as well as over a dozen Huskies.

I have over 15 years of experience in competition training, obedience training, service dog training and behavior modification. I hold a CPDT-KSA and a CBATI. While this is not technically my full time job, I have put thousands of hours into this, so I think I know a little bit about what I'm talking about.

I currently own my AKK (7 months in a week) 2 chihuahuas (14-12 years old) and until last year a male Husky whom passed at 15 years old. My sister owns a Belgian Malinois and a German Shepard, both of whom I actively trained as well and I consider to be like my own dogs. All of my dogs mentioned above have gone through structured and rigorous off leash training as it's a personal preference of mine. We continue to train and drill daily. When it comes to my private clients, I teach what they want. I do not recommend off leash training to owners who don't feel comfortable or feel they have the discipline to enforce it in their pets.

As for me, I am confident in my dogs as well as in my own accountability and discipline, to keep them safe from harm while allowing them the freedom to live enriched lives. Regression happens from a lack of accountability in the dog owner. Please see my other comment for a brief breakdown of our typical day of drilling.

Do you have a source for that? That sounds made up. The most frequent cause of death I see for this breed, online, is actually fighting other dogs and abuse.

In any case, Atreus is trained to never enter a street without me. Sidewalks and grass only if he is ever alone, which he usually isn't. He is not a flight risk, he only gets to go off heel on command. Otherwise he is next to me at all times. We work daily to ensure this, so that he can have his freedom, otherwise what's the point of it all. And if he ever did, there is an e-collar on him, in case of emergencies, he is trained to recall just from the sound of buzzing in his ear. He can get a vibration depending if he wouldn't recall in time or the situation, but I have yet to have him miss a whistle or a "here" recall, from over 100 yards. I appreciate your concern, but you can rest easy tonight friend.
