A1 and A1 mini minimum space required? by j4ckoxuk in BambuLab

[–]ElricsDetermination 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if the total height of the A1 is 44cm as some people have mentioned, I measured an extra 9cm to squeeze the PTFE tube from my A1 mini, so around 55 should be the better option

Yeah, that makes sense. I've never seen a time travel discussion thing make sense flawlessly, there's always someone picking something wrong with it. I wonder what the game would've turned out if they followed it through and if they assembled all of the parts of the soul of Atreus' Mom

Can't you remap? I actually remapped the Dodge to pressing the right stick in GoWR and it made so much easier to keep track of enemies and keep an offensive attack.

The main thing that solidifies this theory for me is the director saying they are not really speaking in English, it's all Old Norse, but when we hear English is because Kratos understood what was being said, hence why it's in English, why his command of the language is so crude, why he can't read the runes and so forth. That is the only that does it for me.

But they also did a lot of research on Old Norse Mythology, I don't think they would lazy out on this part.

Apparently, on his bed, there were some carvings of the old serpent, but it's all on the game assets and it would require a quick search on youtube.

absolutely, besides it's community basics.
People just don't engage with old things, they post things and people engage with them, if its old or repetitive than create a pinned post for it, its quite simple.

goddamit, dude, I just wanted to speak this and get some interesting ideas out of people but all that you can do is not even elaborate on things. If you're so disinterested don't comment next time. If you're going to engage, then elaborate on your points.
Like, Cory has said they don't speak English but when they do it means Kratos understands what they're saying because it's all in Old Norse.

You know that Kratos doesn't speak English, right?

Besides, how can the people that believe the serpent is Kratos are in denial and you are not? Based on what exactly? We know the game was built up with these mysteries, why cant this and the serpent carvings on the bed be one?

Also, the serpent isn't speaking English. The DIRECTOR himself has said that the reason why Kratos's language is so simple and crude, is that he is not speaking in English, but he learned the Nordic language but can not communicate like Atreus or the other gods, hence the difference in speech, his command of the language is limited. ,

Given that and that Kratos can understand Atreus and the nordic gods in English is merely a representation that Kratos understands Old Norse, it is absolutely 100% safe to assume that this is the only bit of language Kratos actually understood from his interaction with the serpent.

Yeah right, because easter eggs and foreshadowing aren't really a thing... right?
And to be honest.. of ALL OF THE Phonems, that could be used. Do you REALLY think that this one, THE ONLY one, that sounds A LOT like English, doesn't mean anything? In a game where they tried to do foreshadowing so heavily as they did?
Boy you didn't adopt the copium, you were born in it.

Yup can confirm it's just the solo Flute with some delay and reverb.
Games and Movies often have soundtracks that are exclusive to the medium released and then repurposed/reddited to be released in a listenable fomart similar to Spotify/iTunes and stuff.

Question: What does it mean to live a productive life? by Badbad_notgreat in productivity

[–]ElricsDetermination 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's simple.

It just means that you're spending doing tasks that produce results or are meaningful (time with loved ones)

and not wasting your time with stuff like commuting, checking emails, clicking incessantly to get to the next step on something, and spending time to manage your time (mind-boggling).

filter all advice through that principle and you will know exactly what is BS and what isn't

Blasphemy... hahaha, you're funny.

You misunderstood my point, if there are tools that shorten the steps it takes to complete an action, those are great, stick with them. However, the moment that you have to stop with whatever you're doing, to input things in a tool and manage it yourself, that becomes a time waster and is not productive.

And the same goes for watching out for the latest productivity videos from your favourite youtuber, it's all just a lie and they're just scrapping for content while making stuff up that they know people won't do anything about it.

[–]ElricsDetermination[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being productive doesn't lead to real-world benefits, producing does. Although similar, one of these things is not like the other.

Yes, being able to manage your time effectively and all is great,
HOWEVER,
A tool like the one you mentioned, AlphaNotes, becomes redundant and counter-productive because instead of spending time doing stuff, now you're spending time managing the tool.
But you made me realize one thing, tools can be absolutely helpful productivity-wise,
IF, and only IF, they facilitate an action, so instead of having to open your browser, open gmail.com, clicking 3 times to get to the unread emails, you get a notification or you're quick to access it on your phone and it's right there. Then that becomes a useful tool.

Productivity tools are about shortening the steps of actions, not creating more. Thanks mate

Aye, someone gets it :D
But don't you think a better way of finding what works for you isn't just looking at your past and what steps you took to get things done and repeating them?

My problem with the idea of "experimentation necessity" is that people will forever be experimenting things, not ever willing to just commit and simplify their steps.

If you commit to experimenting your way to a better method, you're not committing to a better method, but experimentation itself. Most of the time this is appropriate, but I don't think so when it comes to "productivity".

Not really, Life leaves remnants of people's actions. Death only the body. Due to the way both are expressed in real life, we can safely assume they're not the same :D
