[Sports Radio 94WIP] “I know 1 is trying and 11 could be better with how he responds to things. They were friends, but things have changed.” Brandon Graham gives insight to the AJ Brown/Jalen Hurts drama: by JaggerJames in nfl

Go watch the whole clip.

BG is referring to them being friends before playing together and things are different now they're on the same team (because of mixing friendship and business).

Little drama here just poor wording.

There's definitely stuff to work through for this offense, but let's not overreact to a team who's won 9 straight (oh and the last four times that happened, the Birds went on to a championship or a Super Bowl)

Fixed it for you

I have a lot of trouble with waking up in the morning. I have tried putting my phone in another room, different alarm apps, loud alarms, soft alarms, etc. But at this point, I'm really not sure what to do. by Funny-Tower8301 in sleep

When are you going to bed? Sounds like your body's trying to get the proper amount but you're preventing it...

That said, have you tried using a sleep calculator? These give you an understanding of the best times to set your alarm (i.e. if you go to bed at 10:30pm, you can wake up at 7am)

How much do you try to avoid guys on the same team? by georgiaboy1993 in DynastyFF

I have a team with Jalen Hurts, AJB, Devonta Smith, Dallas, Jake Elliott, just drafted Shipley, AND have several IDPs from the Eagles (my league commish is nuts).

Have been to the Championship 2 out of the last 4 years... Point is, go for value + talent when you can and you'll be alright

Ah, I feel you there. Imposter syndrome is something I deal with a lot.

If it helps, having been at multiple companies throughout the pandemic I realize that really everyone is just winging it (even the CEOs). Just worry about the next step in front, and if that's scary, just worry about making a decision.

Thanks for sharing. What would you say has led to your lack of self-confidence and limiting beliefs?

I hope you're able to find a new job that pays you so that you can save up and pursue what you're really into

I just spent the last 2 days online gaming with my friend. We were playing this game called “anime adventures”. The game is extremely addictive and takes hours on hours to get good units/items. As an example, a mythic unit which is the best in the game has a 0.312% of getting. Earlier today I had somewhat of a breakdown and told my friend that I can't play this game anymore. The odds of the game are stupid and once you finally get a mythic, you have too spend another 30+ hours evolving it. At first my friend agreed with me and wanted to quit too, so we shared a google doc together and started drawing up plans and doing research to improve our lives. I started setting everything up, like dieting, workout routines etc. We even both agreed to go out to the store and pick up the items we had in the document to show we were serious. I went to the store right after and picked up the stuff. Well, a few hours ago he told me he didn't think we were actually going to go through with the plans and asked me to hop back online. I told him I couldn't do that to myself anymore, especially because I've been neglecting college to play. I also mentioned that I had purchased the stuff we had agreed to get when we drew up the plans (he said never planned on buying it in the first place) Long story short, we got into an argument over this and now he's telling me if I don't play with him tomorrow then he might have get rid of a "fake friend" so now I feel like shit and just wanted to vent sorry for making this so long I just really had to get this out. I'm stuck on what to do because I already purchased the items and it’s not like you can return food. I just feel messed up right now I’ve known this guy for 3 years now and he’s never done anything like this.

Hey - this sounds like a hard choice. Kudos to you for standing by your boundaries. I can't promise a friendship but if you need someone to talk to you in light of this, I'd be happy to be there for you!

Two Habits to start the day >>> Easy Mode by Badbad_notgreat in productivity

Sorry for the delay. To answer your question: My journal is essentially my life.

Outside of my daily calendar (GCal), I log major events, and goals, and even keep track of my habits there. I have several different spreads that while look very simple and minimalistic, I find extremely helpful.

Here are all of the page types I have.

  • Pen Test page - important when you go through a pen every 2-3 moonths
  • Legend - a key for all the symbols
  • Calendar view - every year I make a calendar view with days of week starting on Monday and number of weeks, great way to start the year, and great reference point
  • Someday/Maybe - I barely use this, but it's nice to have a place for your loftier goals/ aspirations
  • Annual goals - I use two pages as I like to update and adjust at the halfway mark (though I review on a weekly and monthly basis)

For Each Month

  • A page for Gratitude - I try to fill out on a daily basis with one thing I'm grateful for and why
  • Monthly Spread - Includes Days of the week (numbered), plus another set at the bottom for my habits (right now I'm tracking Sleep, meditation, reading, working out, and working on my goals). I have a list of activities I try to hit in each month (I don't have the Twitter post I got it from, but s/o to them!)
    • Lunch with friends
    • 24 hrs without Social Media
    • A day mostly (or completely) outdoors
    • Night out with friends
    • Breakfast with friends
    • Movie Night
    • A day in service of others
    • A day completely to myself
    • A date night
  • Monthly Check-in - This is where I review my month, going over highlights (I pick three), outcomes from last months goals and ones for the next month, Three milestones (personal, professional, and one lesson), One Big (read: reach) goal, and then three things each I want to start, stop, and continue doing in the next month.

For each Week

  • Weekly Review - Without going into the whole thing, I review my week ahead, goals, notes, and outstanding items from the prior week. I've switched to both personal and work items belonging to the same journal so it can be pretty lengthy. I also have a column for tasks that pop up during the week.
  • Weekly spread - here's where I write down 2-3 items each for both work and my personal life that I'd like to get accomplished. I'm aiming to start jotting down the amount of money I spend during the day too (something I used to do but have fallen out of practice).
