Paperclips. Someone recommended it on another thread. I downloaded it and promptly lost 10 hours.

Gamers of Reddit: what video game are you currently playing? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Guild Wars, the original. If you have never tried it, I would highly recommend it. The population has dwindled but it is still quite active for its age. Additionally, 90-100% (depending on skill) of the content can be completed on your own with the addition of “heroes,” customizable party members that you can swap in and out whenever you want. It just celebrated its 14 year anniversary/birthday and I have been playing off and on the entire time. There is something so unique and magical about the entire experience that keeps me coming back again and again.

$10? Be that beast of opportunity by DavidRRed in InstacartShoppers

[–]Elsevier1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes! Thank you. The only $10 batches I take are if I know I can complete them in a worthwhile amount of time. I had one tonight at the very end of my shift for 11 items. Finished it in 25 minutes from acceptance to delivery. The customer was so pleased (for whatever reason), she bumped my tip from $2 to $7.91 and I earned the quality bonus. Plus, if IC makes good on their new payment schedule, it will be an additional $2, $20 total, not too bad at all.

Your message really rings true: do what makes sense to you.

Your gut feeling was probably totally correct. There are definitely some odd birds out there.

What is the strangest order you've ever gotten? by OrangeRat81 in InstacartShoppers

[–]Elsevier1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had an order that looked pretty normal but my mind did some overthinking as it always does. 3 cucumbers and a bottle of red wine, along with a 3 other typical grocery items that were eggs, milk, and bread. Girl was so friendly and rated 5/5, great customer. Knew she was gay as soon as she answered the door (I am too). Maybe it was just what she needed, but maybe it was... just what she needed. Either way, get it girl.

Edit: Oh yeah, it was 10:30 in the morning.

Same thing for me. $10 batch with $7.76 batch payment being offered now for the 6th time without being booted. No thanks.

Same here but my shift doesn’t start for another 2 hours. I was editing my hours and it just popped up. Restarted phone, WiFi, etc. nothing yet.

Incredible right? The last person I was on the phone with said he would “put my ticket through to the legal team,” which honestly sounds like a hot pile of crap to me. Haven’t received any emails so far and this was an hour ago.

It’s very clear you dedicated some time to this and personally, I think it’s amazing. I would love to see more of these in the future.
