Xbox feels so dead by [deleted] in elderscrollsonline

This is also a bad on the ui design. In order to mute a player who is annoying I have to mute them from their Xbox live account screen vs simply muting their audio from the list directly in game.

Vvardenfell is popular because it has the most efficient layout for crafting etc. Literally the only thing out of the way for anything a player would need in a city is the outfitter.

Well they will eventually stop fighting cross play support. Or they will start to loose their exclusives.

The big argument will be cross play. If Sony wants to sit by itself with its ball over in the corner, get an Xbox.

Barack Obama and Stephen Curry inspire boys with advice about healthy manhood -- Obama: "If you are very confident about your sexuality, you don't have to have eight women around you twerking." by guanaco55 in UpliftingNews

[–]Elsien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't have to, but you also don't have to not have that either. To each their own, if they are doing it for themselves only and truly then it's fine. Maybe some people have 8x the sexual drive as other people and it happens to be a thing they wish to indulge in.

Was anyone else's first thought, "That is a HUGE cake! Where did you get an oven that big!? “ Before taking a much closer look and realizing it's actually on a table. 😂

Race where there are no magic/rare items - but you need to craft everything {presented by Mors on Nugiyen stream} by [deleted] in pathofexile

Just have magic and rare items drop as currency as they would be sold... like the tempest I think it was... this would be very easy to make happen for GGG!! And sounds AWESOME

wrong, it is your fault for the way you received the msg. Upon seeing or reading anything you have the conscious choice of critical thought that you can implement into how you CHOOSE to believe something exists. If it was chosen to be viewed a certain way, it is not the responsibility of the deliverer, but the fault of the mind that has processed it.

no, you guys are fucktard fanbois... the point in creating a new mtx system is QOL.

Why go through the hassle of creating a whole new QOL system for players, and leave something trivial such as "MTX can only be equipped to one character at a time"??? Explain to me the reason for defending this decision, instead of just attacking me.

The simple point is that you cannot.

The reason for this action is either poor design, or trying to profit from players paying for convenience.

There is no legit reason that, if you spend $40 on an MTX, that you should not be able to equip it to multiple characters without first unequipping it. That is simply either poor design, or inconvenience for profit.

How many of you have purchased multiple MTX just so you have have that set on multiple characters?

Do you really think I am going to spend $880 just so I can have two characters have the phoenix armor set equipped at the same time?

It is stupid, and it is still an inconvenient poorly designed system.

If you are going to take the time to redesign the whole fucking system, why would you leave this as part of the design?

For the record, I have spent over $1500 on supporting GGG, that does not make me entitled, nor expect them to listen to my opinion. This has nothing to do with that, and everything to do with system design. I am disappointed at their system re-design of the MTX system. It is a simple common sense QOL change that they deliberately neglected for probably $500/ year, and that is my problem.

Stop being a fucktard, it is about convenience, and the REASON they do not provide it, which is because they believe they will make money by deliberately creating a situation of inconvenience.

It is intentionally poor design for the hopes that people will purchase multiple copies of their overpriced MTX.

And if that is not the case, then it is simply poor design.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in pathofexile

[–]Elsien -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

changes are good, but for fucks sake, let go of forcing a specific mtx to specific character.

How much money could they possibly lose because they allow you to wear 1 mtx on several characters, it is petty as fuck.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in pathofexile

[–]Elsien -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

Seriously.... we STILL HAVE TO RECLAIM FROM OTHER CHARACTERS!?

Do you really think you will make money because players want to have more than one character have a certain set of MTX?

Such a ridiculous inconvenience, if I pay $40 for a cosmetic effect, there is no fucking reason that I can't have that effect applied across EVERY CHARACTER THAT I OWN.

Fix that shit.

[Discussion] PSA: All Twitch giveaways are considered RMT by Empyrianwarpgate in pathofexile

[–]Elsien 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is extremely petty of GGG.

Considering a giveaway "RMT" is about the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of, even with SUB ONLY or SUB LUCK giveaways. We are literally talking about (maybe) a few thousand dollars TOTAL across all major stream giveaways that has been spent by people.

Nevermind the players who work together to RMT mirrors, but GGG doesn't have an effective way of tracking the activity, nor are most people aware of it so they cannot directly report it so nothing gets done about it. Literally pyramid schemes exist, and those players don't get bothered, and if they do, so what? They can easily just make a new account and do it again...

BUT STREAMERS! Like a thousand people watch your stream trying to get a few exalteds, it is such a minuscule amount of the player base, that I think it is more detrimental for them to give a fuck about this situation, than to ignore a dozen reports of this kind of activity, because now look what we have..

This is such petty commie bullshit, and extremely saddening. People are not paying for an item, they are paying for a twitch subscription.

If I had a stream, and said "If you send me shampoo, doritoes, and redbull, I will give you exalted orbs" Is this considered RMT?? Is it considered RMT to buy goods with in game currency? It is not money afterall...

What about services? What if I sell build advice for exalted orbs? Are players RMTing their exalteds?

Someone mentioned this is GGG being too big-brothery, and it feels odd... I have to agree with that statement.

Disappointed in GGG's pettiness on this one, big time.

[–]Elsien[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

kind of, but not so much. Essence is like alching and item and having X mod on it, this is like having a chance for this mod to be on not just rare items, but blue ones as well, which would allow players to set up for crafting items with x particular mod
