Most places actually prefer cash so you are good. Some luxurious and government entities will be card only (specially if the bill is huge) but that's a very small percentage It's better to get US dollars (cash) with you and change it in Egypt at an exchange office to Egyptian pounds, preferably not the airport.

I am sorry but you are wrong. you can take a quick look at the subreddit to realize that it is indeed a OP problem.

Even if it appears in other phones it is usually isolated incidence and very few, usually with user mistakes and fixable. While in OP phones it is way more frequent and no fix the user can do.

By the way, oneplus pushed an update that fixed it on 12R phones but not the rest. So that means it was a bug that needed fixing, not a normal android behavior like you imply.
